A drunk still has an alcohol problem. I think a drunk can get tore up when they drink and an alcoholic as well but an alcoholic drinks to get well as well. A drunk may not drink everyday they might, but it's an enjoyment for both. Some alcoholics may only drink enough to get well some days but it's needed until they get sober. One of his kids (I believe the ones that’s homeless) has a documentary on here called Daddy’s shadow she admitted in the middle of the documentary that he paid for her rent and utilities for a place in Hollywood which many fathers won’t do that for their kid. But the issue happened when she said she wanted to be a rapper and wanted him to hook her and her hood friends up with a record deal but he said no go to school she said that’s not her style to go to school. She also was making this documentary when she was still living in that condo in Hollywood and him still paying the utilities. But when Dre found out she was making the documentary he stop paying for the condo and she got evicted towards the end of the documentary. I believe Dre might not be the best father because she said he barely spends time with her and her kids (his grandkids) but there’s many fathers who won’t even pay for their child’s rent and utilities (especially in Hollywood). But I believe that girl was on Drugs

So the story goes that Dre left after spotting 2Pac, Snoop, and I think even Suge (as well as Michel'le) as they arrived and did the red carpet. Dre was there with his then-fiance (now ex wife Nicole).

Not long after that pre-show interview is when he spotted the Death Row entourage (either) arriving at/doing the red carpet and Dre left. Again, there was no pre-show performance done by Dre. He did a short interview during the pre-show of the 1996 MTV VMAs with Kurt Loder. Right before that, there was a video segment that played just prior. That 5-7 minute video covered the Death Row/Bad Boy beef, east coast/west coast beef, and Dr. Dre at that time.
