Dr. Hamilton Implants First EDOF Lens in Los Angeles 

Dr. D. Rex Hamilton, of the UCLA Laser Refractive Center, implanted the first Extended Depth Of Focus lens in Los Angeles on August 24, 2016. The lens, Tecnis Symfony IOL (Abbott Medical Optics), was recently approved by the FDA and has been having incredible results for eligible patients needing cataract surgery. We hope to share with you the patient's experience with the new lens and information about this wonderful new technology.
