I went into D R Harris the other day (living in London I couldn't resist) and I bought some Windsor Shave Cream and Aftershave and off the back of this review I have to say it smells AMAZING! And the lather is just awesome! Thanks for the review nick!

Excellent review Nick! Thank you. I live in a place where the supplies for wet shaving are scarce to non-existent (Qatar). If one wants to try something, he would have to rely on reviews like this. Put the scent aside, although you have given plenty of info on that too, how the soap performs is also very important. This video just got me to subscribe to your channel. Very informative and to the point. Keep it up!

I have the Marlborough scent in a wood bowl. I love it and since it will last forever I wasn't too worried about the price. It's nice to leave out on display too.

I have it with the Dr. Harris mahogany bowl. I like the scent of windsor it somehow reminds of some soap i've used as a child in early 90's. For me it's lather is semi slick so the second pass with it isn't always as smooth i would want but still it's good soap. Hope you get better shaves out of it than i.

nice to see it lathers easily i bought the same puck last year but have yet to try it and a few others i own if your shave review goes as well, i may break it out sooner rather than later but i hate having even more open soaps than i already do

Stirling soaps are incredible and also reasonably priced. Tons of scents to choose from, too.

I have one of those but I don't know which scent it is. It doesn't seem to say on the label. But smells nice. I find it takes much more to lather properly than it looked for you. perhaps our water is different. I always knock out more water than you did and load up for about twice as long, otherwise it just seems to dissipate on my face. But I like it and it's in my rotation, but not my favorite.

I have the same problem :( I bought the Sandalwood scent and it dries out surprisingly fast, as well as give a really dry post shave. Bummer 😞

What happened with the Truefitt and Hill Shaving Soap? I noticed that you did not make a shaving review with it. Did you quit on it?

I haven't been able to dial it in yet! Once I do I will shave with it, but that soap just doesn't work for me...

I own 5 DR Harris soaps. They perform excellent. TF&H soaps do not ;-) which is why I own zero TF&H soaps - but 8 TF&H creams.

Nick did you watch my video reply and if you go to my video you will see the video I have which is nick shaves - Please Watch Nick. This was regarding the Truefitt and hill lathering review and its a video messege to you and I emailed Truefitt and hill and this is the reply I got from them. Please Read. Thank you for your email and bringing our attention to this review. Our barbers watched the review and they suggested that the gentleman in the video does not lather the soap for long nor hard enough. The gentleman is also using a "refill" and not the wooden lathering bowl the complete soap is shipped in. Truefitt & Hill shave soap is harder and longer lasting, and therefore requires a bit more work to lather than the average shave soap. I must say this is the first negative review we have had of any of our shaving soaps. At the end of the day it also comes down to personal choice and shaving style. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with the same product. We still do acknowledge and respect this gentlemen's review of the soap and appreciate the time taken to review our product.
