It depends where you live, and when you watched the show. Teardrop remained the theme for several seasons of the original run of the show in the US. When it was exported, they had to change it, due to music licensing restrictions. When it was franchised later, I think they changed the theme over all to save money marketing the series. Makes no difference to me. When I hear this, I’ll always think of House limping up the front walk of Princeton-Plainsborough, griping about the parking spot Cuddy assigned him. :)
It makes me think about my longest lasting friendships betraying my trust, spending everyday melancholy. The song makes me wonder when I'll finally stop tumbling, but at least I know I will someday, and I hope you know that you will too
