For years, I thought people like this were nowhere to be found-that they didn’t exist “in real life”, but only on the internet. I was raised in a megachurch, and the only other church options for miles in every direction were other megachurches. Then suddenly, after graduating college, I found out that the Rec Center I lived next door to my entire life had a small group of faithful, reformed baptist christians (about 20-30) meeting in an upper conference room for church ever since I was a child. When I went to visit, the pastor even recognized the Dividing Line sweatshirt I was wearing! And he lets the scripture speak, rather than basing a sermon on an anecdote or analogy. This only happened a few months ago (April), but those people-that church-had been just around the corner my entire life. I don’t know why God chose not to reveal them to me until recently… but I’m guessing there’s a good reason. I was convinced by all available evidence I wouldn’t find people like this anytime soon (I wasn’t even looking) and yet I did unintentionally. Hope that encourages you 🙂 I guess things will happen when God wants them to.
Where do You work at? i saw Your comment about Mike Winger, so i assume You weren't just Born Again, recently -and "this walk". i checked what i could to see where You are and help You out. i have connections with Tim Conway and another Pastor from Illinois who moved down there (from the Land of Paul Washer, might help Ya), and that would probably be the closest i can think of (not knowing exactly where Ya are; i don't think that's West enough). How many Church's have You attended in Your town?
Call up the Masters university, and they actually keep tabs on their former students, so if you tell them your area they will tell you if they have anybody from the master's University in the local churches
There are really only a couple faithful reformed it seems here in el paso. Used to attend old paths, sought membership, but they had one of their married "elders" that was addicted to porn preaching on sundays, and sending him to call out sin in others marriages 🤦🏽♂️ and none of them tried to have fellowship outside their cliques. The other church is in Santa Theresa, abt 45 minutes away, but theyre CRC, which just affirmed women "pastors". And no they wont meet unless you go to their building on service days. Everything else is 90-95% roman catholic, assembly of god, pentecostal, or abundant living faith which is a subsidiary of joel osteens word faith heresy. Not about "perfection", its abt trust, trusting my soul and life to people. In iowa, i didnt "look" or have a christian enough past (my family was RC, pagan, grandma and aunts was/were practicing santeria curandera and witches), gangsters, dealers, smugglers, addicts, so the presby church there played nice in the building, but again i got the feeling i didnt "look" like them. I'm almost at the point of moving to Mesa to seek membership at Apologia, seems theyre the only ones filled with believers that "look" like me or where id be welcomed with a past like mine lol not many noble are called 🤷🏽♂️
Yup they MIXED WORSHIP and worshipped under EVERY GREEN TREE!!! They mixed it with FERTILITY gods like Ishtar bunnies! To worship God falsely and not in the way He commanded us to worship on His Ordained Feasts...... is disobedient! You bow down to demons when you bow down and place gifts under the WRONG TREE!
God's commands are random like being out to sea .. Jesus said the spirit of the Lord will lead you into all truth regarding Jesus and how to follow him .. God can quicken a man's spirit like with Paul to go to one town but not the other

Ouch, that happy anniversary to his wife at the beginning was absolutely brutal. I've been listening to James White's messages and debates for a while and have sensed that there is a pattern of him making some cutting remarks, but if this is the way he treats his wife in public, I tremble to imagine what he's like with her in private. Mrs. White, I sincerely hope you're ok. Mr. White, I sincerely hope you will take to heart that you are not loving your wife as Christ loves the church.
I mean it seemed like some corny jokes, but James White has always showed appreciation for his wife and seemed to deeply value her and their marriage. I mean he was making a joke that she either looked young or something like that. I mean maybe I didn't hear what you heard. If something seemed to offend you I'm struggling to see where ma'am. But I would say let's be careful when commenting on someone's character and especially in regards to that person's marriage.
