Researchers found that young people with joint hypermobility were more likely to have depression and anxiety, and that psychiatric symptoms were also more severe among hypermobile participants.

These videos have helped me so much by validating my experiences and health conditions. I am 28 and have been diagnosed only recently with hypermobility. And I have struggled with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. More research is needed on these issues. The lack of evidence is frustrating, even most doctors have little knowledge about a condition that severely impacts my quality of life.
