"I have so deeply abandoned myself to be in this situation but I am separate from myself in the biggest way. I'm not being chosen." Oh wow Danica.... what an incredibly powerful insight. That really spoke to me. As always, thank you so much ❤️

Danica proved my point here. This is what happens when u abandon urself to try and relate to someone u can't relate to because u are told that relationships are hard and compatibility is boring. It's just not true.

Danica, Don’t let other opinions disturb you. (Regarding a recent picture on social media platform./Accusing you of being Maga.). Some people were raised to hate others. It’s not anybody’s fault but their own.

Good Day Danica tribe, the talks Danica has with these people are so beautiful. To me the info is just on point with what I think, I love to hear another person's perspective on things I am similarly going through. It's like a once a week therapy session, that has a guest speaker on a topic I need to meditate on. Have a good day.

57:00 To the women out there...men DO need to feel free regardless of what this guy says. That's why the fastest way to lose a guy is to smother him or be controlling. We're not that different than you, we want to feel supported, encouraged and allowed to express ourselves so we become better versions of ourselves, the freedom to do that is priceless. It doesn't mean a guy is gonna go out and cheat or always be with his pals, etc. Most men cheat and with less attractive women because they weren't supported and feel repressed. This dude is a classic narcissist and blew off an important topic to score points with Danica.

21:50 Danica "Most people aren't tuned into how their body feels." + 24:00 John talking about outsourcing and tricks to return some awareness, and Danica about the pause moment BEFORE reacting/responding to something. That's a lot like the story Goenka shares when teaching vipassana meditation. How do you stop yourself from being angry? Get a secretary that will tell you when you're angry! You can be angry (which is accurate wording, you actually 'become' anger epitomized when you 'are' angry) at any time, any day, anywhere. Hire 10 secretaries! What do you do when they tell you that you're being angry? Because you're angry... you shout at them, telling them you KNOW you're angry. Well that didn't work. Fine, let's say you know why you've hired them and won't yell at them when they tell you, What do you do now? Even if that works, it still doesn't STOP you from being angry. But at least you're learning how much you're angry. :P For context, vipassana is a 'practice' that involves the basic observation of all sensations throughout the body at all times. It's what the buddha taught because it's what he did himself to become the buddha. Any person can 'learn' this in 10 days. You don't need 10 years. It's just a commitment to it. There are a lot of things like it too. For more modern-ish references, in the book Letting Go by David Hawkins, he spells out and goes into the exact same thing that's taught at vipassana courses. Untethered Soul by Michael Singer has a lot about the same thing too. Those are newer examples of it, but most ancient teachings have some variation of it, so it's a matter of applying it to life, which is definitely complex despite its simplicity, but if it's not something that comes naturally to you (plural you/to anyone who might read or look into things) there are resources everywhere for exactly what Danica/John were talking about aiming for/looking at. Though calling these things 'practices/methods/techniques' is a little odd, effectively anything that involves observing the sensations within the body along with cultivating awareness (which INVOLVES balance of the mind, balance and awareness are synonymous in more contexts than people tend to consider) are all leaning to the same thing. You've been inhaling and exhaling since the day you were born. How many times have you noticed you were doing one and not the other? It's been going on this whole time, maybe it's worth observing that simple thing that's always going on with you? It's amazing how the laws of the universe (even the few that are 'understood' academically) play out when applied to life, even slightly. Just to chime in another thing for the comments at 19:40 about not having met someone like 'that.' 'lifts hand' We exist. We are around. :) I've watched quite a few of these podcasts but stopped long ago. Fun to find these things again when filtering through old bookmarks. Yay. :P

At each of Danica's comments about 'parallel/mirror/reflection.' A phrase that might be useful here is 'The universe doesn't make mistakes.' There's no way (as in, it's by a technicality not possible) that the universe will somehow screw up, and somehow do anything except the exact qualitative match of everything going on with each person, all at the same time. The universe isn't messing that up. You can count on it... the thing you're a part of (which implies you 'are' it in the same way your toe is a part of you + you at the same time) to operate. The universe operates. It's precise, perfect, exact. If I were to 'personify' the universe. To each of those comments, the universe would respond something like this. "Yep, more than you can imagine, but it's great to see you catching the matches you're catching. Nice, keep going." With a big smile.

Im 100% Combat Wounded Vet with PTSD here. I have a 166lbs English Mastiff that is trained to help me with anger, anxiety, panic attacks. He can sense it immediately and he will wrap his body around my shins to calm me down when panicked. He stands between others and myself to protect them from me if I get out of hand, and he's so tall he can flip the blankets off me when screaming in my sleep and licks my arm to wake me up. Come to find out he has nightmares too. Two lost souls in the night! God bless.

Thank you for sharing such a great story on how your dog helps you w love! ❤️ I rescued a Bull Mastiff from this lady who would leave him outside on a small chain without food or water for days at a time. The guy who sold the dog to her told me what was going on with dog because he felt responsible because he sold her the dog. After I rescued him I saw he was real skittish and gun shy like someone had been abusing him on top of neglecting. He was one of the best dogs I ever owned. I named him Blue he was adorable!! I have a male Pomeranian now and he’s a real good dog too.

No, they shouldn't be so judgemental, to have them blow their entire life, because of a change that could be just normal. And I think you, volunteering to be there for them when it happens to them, is you verbally creating an across respectful inter-human boundary money earning niche for yourself. :

hmmm...the whole take a knee thing strikes me as problematic...perhaps it's about the language? is John circling around unity consciousness? Is it true that our physical body can't handle the awareness of the universe? is it that we're needing to remember who we are and all the spiritual technology our body is equipped with? he says worship (which hmmm doesn't resonate with me) but is he actually talking about surrender of the aspect of the ego that is enmeshed in running the programs of the false matrix? Thank you for another gem interview. :)
