Back in '97, when this show was first on Dutch TV, my 17-yo self wasn't aware that his "patients" were in fact comedians doing a routine. I liked it nonetheless, it marked the sad end of the weekend for me in the funniest way possible.
I hear you. I too was 17 when the show came out and I remember coming home late and this would be on like 2:30 a.m... There was nothing even remotely like this at the time. Great show. When I found it on here it definitely took me back. Cheers from Buffalo, N.Y. to shared memories with complete strangers from across the globe my friend.
I recognized that as Steven Wright before he even spoke lol. My art teach mentioned this show to me after he learned I enjoy Home Movies, and I am loving it. Thanks professor!
@@leauxhoney4842 SO true! I was repulsed at the idea when my babysitter made it for me as a kid, but then I tried it and it is honestly quite amazing. I can’t get my kids to try it, or any other form of bologna, but all told, that’s actually a good thing.
kevin meaney has such a goofy voice. really stands out and i always remember from childhood is the "what's the matter with you, it's not right" he used to always do haha
man. this brings back memories of late highschool. ditchin morning classes and watchin early morning comedy central. pullin bongs before lunch. Hahaha. havent thought of this in years. lmao!
the animation was so simple but the subtleties made it hilarious. like the giant head man at 11:06 with the darting eyes and wispy hair blowing in the wind ahhah
Steven Wright is a legend and he's one of the few comedians on this show whose routine sounded like real psychological problems.....Ben needs an accident down the stairs, though
will never forget the line 'criminals can't read'. you feel for dr katz because his son is still living there but then you realise he raised him and taught him absolutely nothing.
I think I've been seeing these shows one too many times I'm starting to know what they say before they say it LOL this show started about the same time South Park started but this was comedy Central at 9:00 p.m.
At 12:10 of the episode "Real Estate" S2E2, is a fountain showing the top parts of some statuary spitting waters, and one figure has wings, so webbed feet..? Still want to see in whole, though.
