yung TDS kasi kaya tumataas dahil pagdumaan na sa carbon filter, sumasama na yung carbon which is good. so example kung 76ppm ka sa raw water mo, dadaan dito sa dr.kurin, possible na tataas talaga ito. hindi din sukatan ng TDS ang safe to drink na tubig. try nio bumili ng Legit na Mineral Water at icompare nio yun TDS sa Raw water. Safe to drink ang tubig kung nasala naman nito ang dumi at bacteria na nasa Raw water. which is pinoprovide nitong dr.Kurin. Di naman siguro papasa sa DOH ito kung di safe inumin.

Your test findings is exactly within spec. FYI, TDS meters do not test for bacteria and other contaminants. Your tap water could have bacteria or other contaminants that the Dr. Kurin removed. There's too much misinformation about TSD meters. In most contries, bottled water must contain at least 250 mg/l TDS to be labeled as mineral water and pass certification.

@@Na2000Cl I figured a TDS meter alone can't validate safe drinking water. Also had bad experience after the second filter replacement so I stopped using the system.

​@@Na2000Cl these filtration systems don't last long. I noticed my glass of water had some floating tiny membrane pieces of dirt and found out my filtration system was contaminated with bacteria. I got sick because of it several times even when I replaced the filters earlier than scheduled. Once the bacteria propagated in the system, they will keep on growing and reach the output line every time so even when you change the filters, you have a higher chance of getting diarrhea compared to drinking directly from the tap (where chlorine is present and is always cycled through by daily use). Just like an article I've read from the Singaporean Gov't website (I don't remember where exactly), you'll need a Reverse Osmosis + UV water purification and sterilization system and these cost A LOT to setup and maintain and you won't find any one here in PH selling them commercially because these units are mostly for large establishments and not economical for household use. These cheaper static filtration systems are all scams. I went back to boiling tap water and just trust my kidneys to filter out inorganic materials. I don't want to deal with diarrhea again.

Based on TDS (81 ppm) and pH (7.5 - 8) results, safe naman. Although, we use it for cooking and coffee only for now.

Hi. Sorry late reply. Actually we only use the water from it for cooking purposes. We don't drink from it mainly because personally I find the ppm result a bit high.

Yes. I tried draining for around 15 minutes upon installation.

Passed naman yung results nung water from the filter unless target ppm ng product is below 10. Pero based din kasi sa results ng testing, mukhang malinis na yung water straight from the faucet so di ko din masabi talaga kung nagwork ba yung filter.

Yes. Dapat bumaba sya so I'm actually wondering myself kung bakit kaunti lang binaba nya. Unfortunately hindi ko ma test with a water source that has 200+ ppm but I'm also curious to know kung bababa sya ng around 80+ ppm like in the video.

Did that but not 1 hour. Around 15 minutes upon installation. I've been using it for over 6 months now and have been doing tests from time to time. Unfortunately results are still the same. Not much difference in ppm compared to tap water.

​@@Sandiegos thank you for the response. Paano kung source mo nasa 100+ ppm may nagawa ka na po kaya testing if mapapababa nya sa 81ppm? thank you..

Unfortunately I haven't tested it with a water source having more than 100 ppm.
