DR MARTENS Q&A (Sizing, Lace Code, Grails, Future Content) 

LACE CODE INFO (COLOR CODE & MEANINGS AT BOTTOM OF COMMENT) Guys lace code is 100% prevelant *if you present or belong in or around the punk community* if youre alt or punk and you wear the wrong laces, people will notice, and it can get you in trouble. If youre a normal everyday 9-5 nice businessman wearing docs nobodys going to really pay attention. The Punk community is still really strong, it just feels a lot smaller because of the internet and the explosion of online forums/communities. All 3 jobs ive worked so far ive known at least one coworker with Color Coded yellow, blue, or purple laces. YELLOW ~ S.H.A.R.P. (Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice), yellow laces are used to seperate skinhead punks from racist skinheads ORANGE ~ Means the same thing as YELLOW laces, one just came before the other (orange laces arent really recognized tho) WHITE ~ White Supremacist. Dont wear these. Youre not going to have a good day. (If youre an everyday joe-woe going to walmart I wouldnt worry.) RED ~ Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist. Dont wear these. Youre going to get the shit beat out of you and for good fucking reason. BLUE ~ ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) if worn with white laces (one shoe blue, one shoe white) it means Cop Killer signifying youve killed a police officer. I dont reccomend ever wearing only blue laces or blue&white laces. Its a recipe to get arrested. (NEVER take blue laces to a protest, always change them first) PURPLE ~ LGBTQIA+/ally/safe space. Dont be a bigot. Respect peoples pronouns. I always wear one doc. Purple laced 💖 GREEN ~ Vegan/Vegetarian. This one probably has the least amount of significance or recognition. I feel like these are self explanatory. PINK ~ these arent really ever used because theres no specefic established meaning but it usually means LGBTQIA+/ally or signifies orientation/identity

They Did This As A “F**k You” To The Hippy Movement & Conservative Opinions: These Original Skinheads Or 69 Skinheads Formed “The S.H.A.R.P. Movement” Or “Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice” Accepting The Black Community & Advocating For Racial Diversity… Lace Colours Told People Who You Were & What You Did To Gain Respect In The Group, Here’s Some Examples Of Lace Meanings; Black: Came With The Boots, No Meaning Attached. Yellow: Came With The Boots/Anti-Racist, SHARP Skinhead. Blue: Beaten/Killed A Police Officer White: KKK/White Power/Neo Nazis (Later On In The Movement) Red: Neo Nazis/National Front Purple: Anti-Skinhead/Gay Pride

Dr Martens DO offer half sizes, I just bought a pair of UK 9.5, this is just your retailer not carrying them
