I have US 9 feet and when I tried on the Jadons they were very heavy/chunky and my feet looked huge :s But the Sinclairs actually made my feet look small & cute! They more comfortable too since they are soft leather vs. the typical hard leather. I can size down to US 8 in the 1460s and Jadons no problem, but in Sinclair my toes toughed slightly so the salesperson suggested using an insole with my regular size to snug them up and I found that perfect (cuz toes touching = a sad time)
just bought mine today, i'm def not sizing down i'm a true size men's 8(women's size 9) n stayed to my true size and fits perfectly, with little toe wiggle room, if i went down to a women's 8 its too tight and i can't even wear em around in store, (tried both size 8 and 9, 9 being the better fit)
I am a 7 1/2, and usually, get size 8 because the extra space helps with my wide feet but I do really hate the creasing it causes in Docs. I tried a size 7 a long time ago in the store and found them to be too tight for my feet, it sucks so I stick to size 8s. This video convinced me to get the sinclairs! Thank you girl!!!!!!
Yes, sadly I could never break mine in! They were just too small. Next Fall/winter season I'm gonna go for the Jadon's in a 7 cause the 8's were like clown shoes.
That’s so crazy because I read the same. I am an 8 but my foot is narrow and I tried on the 7 in different styles and the heel of my foot and my toe touch the shoe and i felt length wise they were not comfy and the 8 is loose around but length wise it’s perfect not too tight or loose. So comfy! I love mine sooo much!!!😍
i got my sinclair’s about two weeks ago and the 7 my toe was touching the front and the 8 my heels slips:/ i usually wear an 8/8.5 in other shoes and i’m trying everything to get my heel not to slip bc i’m worried about blisters so far i’m ok but have only worn them where i don’t do too much walking any ideas?
I think for most people who are in between sizes it's going to be the hardest to find the right fit with Dr. Martens boots. They're either too small or a too big, unfortunately. As for the slipping try a gel insole and thick socks. Thanks.

I sized down in these I’m a uk 5 but got a uk 4. The issue is though it doesn’t feel like I need to break them in ? And the heel slightly slips off too . Should I be getting docs that actually fit tight or should I jus leave it as it is ?
I think with these its better to be a bit small. These are very rigid shoes and will rub the back of your heel very painfully if they are too small making them inpossible to wear.
With Dr. Martens boots in my experience I always size down. They have consistently always been a size too big if I get my original shoe size. I'm wearing two lip products. For a pop of pink I used Glow Recipe Lip Pop in Watermelon. I put a high shine clear gloss over it from Ulta Beauty called Waves.
I'm 5'4. The Jadon and the Sinclair both have the same platform height 1.75 inch. They are both very nice looking boots in person. The Sinclair boots are nicer in my opinion. The Sinclair boots are less popular but more unique and versatile. The Sinclair boots also come in the polished leather like the Jadon boots and vise versa if that helps.
They are are fine for the first few mins then quickly become one of the painful shoes I've ever worn because they rub my heels absoultely raw. I haveb tried the special heel blister sticky things i bought yet to see if that helps.
They are still very cute but for me very uncomfortable. With proper blister cushioning and socks they are wearable for longer periods. They take a long time to break in.
Not for me. The first time I wore them I had blisters and slightly bruised heels. I have to wear them with a heel cushion. I'm still breaking mine in. I've only worn them twice.
