They have computers in their stations to store some information about crimes, criminals and adresses where crime has taken place but guess what, when there's a need to pretend to be working they go to that computer to extract information or an address from where a crime was committed and go harass people living at that address even when the criminal who used to reside there is no more. All government organisations need such intervention ongoing..

There is too little effort done on crime prevention in South Africa. You cannot just respond to the murder question by simply highlighting the number of arrests and convictions made.

Johannesburg CBD is a slum and the the murder capital of Gauteng.
