If process is so revolutionary, why is he wearing glasses. Also, nobody talks about how long the effects last during the day....do you start going blind by midnight?

My parents doesn’t believe this work so I’m going get part time jobs and go do it myself.... don’t understand why they doesn’t support me for a better eyesight

They are probably concerned with damaging your eyes. Or your parents don't want to spend around $1k for lense when you can spend $150 for glasses.

@@youwhatsuptube It is not a permanent fix and will only address small amounts of myopia. I spent $2,500.00 and ended up with corneal abrasions and resulting corneal distortion. I cannot wear soft contacts now and glasses cannot fully correct my vision. I need to wear RGP contacts to drive a car..

can ortho k treatment be detected in a slit lamp or any other medical test where shape of eye is checked.

a slit lamp will not detect treatment however topography will

yes on a topographer and maybe on a keratometer but its unlikely.

Over 10 years. Ortho-k cost $15,000 Sleep in contact lenses. Lasik? $4,000 One time.

These can only reduce small amounts of myopia and can cause corneal abrasions.. I should know, I tried it and ended up with abrasions and permanent corneal distortion. Now I have to wear RGP lenses in order to see.. Glasses don't quite work well..

Orthokeratology has been around since the early 1960's as an attempt to reduce myopia in children.. But these will cause corneal abrasions ( I tried it ) and can distort the cornea and create a situation where glasses and soft contact lenses will not work.. P.S. This man once fit me with lenses and is an optometrist, not an ophthalmologist ( Real eye Dr. )...

Julie Jongkryg I use them I'm only 11 but I started when I was 10 but I don't know if there's an age limit I think you just have to be able to take them in and out

no age limit however when your eye starts to cease axial growth, you are not going to get the benefit of reducing the progression of myopia.
