That gold price is based on 24kt gold. Jewelers are cutting it with other metals and selling 10 and 14kt. Less pure gold but for at a higher price. Sound like finesse to me

Moissanite naturally comes from asteroids and rarer than diamonds because of that. Moissanite people buy now is man made but the gem itself does occur naturally and is a gem of its own.
