God I love this character. He literally has the energy and personality of an over exasperated comic book villain and the animators seem to have a blast animating his every movement.
@@PixelaGames2000 nearly all of these are from a crack in time which was on the ps3. The graphics for the game are pretty great too. A crack in time is a wonderful gem. Played it when I was younger and really got me into ratchet and clank
@@zegaskmask5659 If only it wasn't rushed, would've without a doubt be one of the best video games to ever release on 7th gen. The sheer fact that this game ended up as good as it did is a miracle if nothing more.
This character is simply a gift to humanity. A bit disappointed you didn't include his "death" where he yodels like hell one last time before keeling over.
@@notoriouscasual5004 There's a scene during the credits to A Crack in Time that hints Lawrence went back to the destroyed space station to pick up Nefarious and fixed him back up. So yeah, All-4-One is canon, which eventually leads up to Into the Nexus and the upcoming Rift Apart game.
I love that despite being an all-mechanical-maniac, they animated him like some stretchy cartoon character compared to every other character in this series. It's perfect!!
1:15 & 1:39 I love how even though he's a robot, whenever Nefarious screams at someone, their bodies are affected like wind from his "breath" is being blown on them. Marvelous touch. 👌
@@megapulsar9244he can also scream so loud it makes noise while he’s stuck on an asteroid in the middle of space. Man’s got lungs of literal steel apparently
2:16 It would have been cool if you failed at this boss fight, Nefarious would have killed you canonically and then he would rewind time so he could beat you again. And you canonically only defeat him because he is so arrogant that he keeps doing that so long that you win in the end.
One slight problem. _”I wouldn’t risk any more than six minutes.”_ Even if killing off Ratchet, takes less than six minutes, it will take more than six minutes from the start of the battle, to being able to push back the time lever. Result? More than six minutes needed. Universe go bye-bye.
@@MadnessIncVP Im sorry but Imma have to call bs on that. We've seen Ratchet travel 2 years into the past the first time he traveled back in time and even further the second time when he was helping the fongoids. Why coudn't the Orvus Chamber then do the same thing Sigmund could do if not better? Because the plot demanded it? That's bullshit
@@surprisemotherschmucker4950 You do not understand that time cannot be changed and using the clock improperly could rip the very fabric of existence! So Ratchet & Clank used time portals to change time without the need of the Orvus Chamber. Azimuth attempted to use the Orvus Chamber to turn back time more than 6 minutes and apparently it led to this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oUSamKOP6r8.html
I just adore the look of pure stubborn indignation on his face after he fires the gun to prove it's not loaded... only for it to be loaded. It just screams "We all know I was wrong, but good luck getting me to admit it out loud!"
@@Superdarkcloud666 Could Emperor Nefarious have a rage face too if he is connected with the romantic Holo TV show by his assistant fixing up his head in another dimension?
@It’s a nerd in a box’s YEAH The only reason Shockwave would be able to pull it off would be if he was begging for mercy or something, which is incredibly rare for him to do. I know him; he’s quite fearless like our master, Megatron.
There's something about how he yells right into Lawrence's ear, with a goddamn megaphone. Had it been a normal person and not a robot their head would've exploded, or at least lost their hearing completely. So over the top, you can't help but laugh. xD At least I did.
@@GameShack2006 There's two of them, so... But this exact Nefarious with this exact VA was one of the two, and people do get old..plus he's constantly throwing his voice out to be the hammiest ham to ever ham
Who’s here after listening and seeing the spectacular acting performance of the notorious yet amazing personality of Dr. Nefarious once more from Rift Apart? 😊👍
I find Dr. Nefarious so intriguing as a villain because well... he’s basically a bad one. And what I mean by that is his plans normally have a pretty pointless outcome. Ok he turns everyone into robots, then what? Oh ok he makes it so every villain wins, then what? It’s as if he enjoys being a villain in the moment rather than actually having a real goal in mind with his villainy. By the way “HELLO MR. PRESIDENT!” is one of my fav lines.
They even bring this point up in Rift Apart. Emperor Nefarious feels bored when he wins because he always wins. He has nothing to look forward to. Dr. Nefarious feels alive getting even close to winning because he knows he got closer than last time. He's practically in it for the thrill. Sure he's exhausted of losing every. goddamn. time., but who wouldn't be at that point?
What about the part from A Crack In Time, where Nefarious screams out Ratchet's name after Ratchet goes back in time and damages his eye with the bomb.
