The pappa Rudolf cursing sample is absolutely hilarious to any fucking swede (especially those born in the 80s and 90s) whether they enjoy this whacky song or not and the intro with ”HELVETES JÄVLAR!” before the BPM goes through the roof is unforgettable and forever iconic to me. The intro alone literally made me an instant fan of this dude and it always gets people in a good mood during parties. The sample is kind of a mess around 40 sec in, though, but maybe that’s just me and I’m assuming it’s due to linguistic difficulties since Dr Peacock doesn’t speak Swedish and might have been unsure how to make the sentence sound good, clear and not too jumbled as a non-native who only hears funny or weird noises and not a real sentence, but I don’t think it works very well with the instrumentals for a minute there and it doesn’t sound very catchy in my opinion. Would’ve been better just using it like the intro is used and repeat that a few times before the drop and get people ready for a the tempo change. Either that or gotten the help of a swedish musician and straight up gone balls to the wall crazy with funny and well known sound samples from swedish pop culture that works with the song and the language.
Fun sidenote: "Helvetes jävlar" roughly translates to "FFS" and was quoted by Peter Haber performing as the father of the famous character Sune, from the christmas-show "Sunes jul" (1991). Link is: watch?v=sB78qOqIeaI
