Ya'll simply trying to cover the guilt of using makeup wipes here 😏.Commenting again.... Wet wipes are made of polyester , one can also use the wipes made of bamboo. But it will still create waste. one can use Micellar water (I RECYCLE MY BOTTLES) with reusable cotton pad while travelling or as the first cleanse with oil cleanser on heavy makeup days. Coming to Susan yara, she says that when people really rub wipes or use it as the only cleanse. I am not her biggest fan because skincare depends on every single individual and their lifestyle. But stop hating and start caring for environment. This is a NEEDDD. IF WE WANT OUR COMING GENERATION TO BE ALIVE !

I, for one, don't agree with the 'derma has basic routines' statement, are people forgetting the dermas ALWAYS say, they have injections for surprise zits? They do laser treatment FOR FREE because it's THEIR equipment, of course they will have basic routines because they have EASY and DIRECT access to the very expensive treatments that really works. For us, we could only rely on products, it might feel expensive but it could last us months, and we can't afford the treatments, which is not only one timr anyway, it's more of a maintenance Although, yes, celebrities can afford it, and of course, they do use the treatments frequently, but their skin care routines are more for pampering their skin instead of keeping the acne at bay

Rimuru do you realize they have to pay for this stuff still? Many derms DONT want to spend money on the extra stuff. And many women I know have botox and the worst skin I have ever seen; using the right products which they tend to recommend is the only right way to do this- educate yourself and be aware of the products used
@Miro.

@@alaasusername Lmfao, those are NOT extra stuff. Those are the stuff that 100% works, of course they'll do the treatments, and who will they pay to if they OWN ONE? even if they don't own one, I doubt they'll pay the full price. I think the problem with “fragrance” and the discussion around what effects it may or may not have on the skin is complicated because what makes up fragrance is not regulated and can be any number of compounds and differs from company to company and product to product. This makes it almost impossible to assess what kind of impact it is having on the skin. Personally, I err on the side of caution and avoid it but really who knows.
@connorfyfe4066
@connorfyfe4066 4 года назад
Lisa Hayes Saying that fragrance is unregulated is incredibly misleading, and very factually incorrect. That only certain compounds can be listed as fragrance speaks to its strict regulation. All of these compounds have been approved by regulatory bodies such as the FDA. You can check the entire list of compounds that are able to be listed under ‘fragrance’.

This is a summary from a scientist paper reader published in the peer reviewed scholarly “Flavour and Fragrance Journal”, 2002. “In spite of...wide spread use and exposure, there is little information available on the materials used in fragrance. Fragrance formulas are considered trade secrets...There is little governmental regulation of fragrance. The fragrance industry has in place a system of self-regulation.”

The laws regarding fragrance ingredients have not really changed much since then. In 2009 European union amended their law: According to Article 19 (1) Regulation No. 1223/2009 (cosmetics regulation)",,,, perfume aromatic compositions and their raw materials are referred to as ‘parfum’ or ‘aroma’.... At the moment, 26 fragrance allergens are subject to individual labelling". But this is 26 ingredients out of thousands - with new fragrance molecules constantly being developed. They are taking public submission at the moment such is the problem with fragrances. The US is not even doing that much.

It's important to note that the HA serum she talked about was not pure HA! It had an occlusive as well (Squalane) so it DID work to prevent Trans-Epidermal Water Loss, but not all HA serums have occlusives, in which case you would need to follow up with a moisturizer that does have one. HA is a humectant and attracts water and moisture, but it doesn't retain that moisture, so if you're in a dry environment, for example, it might draw some moisture out of your skin (which occlusives prevent). I'm not an expert in any sense shape or form, just watch a lot of these videos so please take this with a grain of salt and go do some more research :)

I've read from The Little Book of Skin Care by Charlotte Cho.. Essence, Serums, Boosters, Ampules are done after Toner and before Sheet Masks. Moisturizer is the second to the last before Sunscreen. So basically it should be the one with the lightest consistency first then the creamy ones last because the skin would find it hard to absorb anything that is applied after creams like moisturizers and sunscreen so they should last.

@@jodyarmstrong6667 Ha, yeah there's a lot of conflicting information out there. Typically moisturizer is second to last, right before sunscreen-- but that's in the daytime when people wouldn't usually use oils. The whole lightest consistency to creamier consistencies concept isn't really a set rule; it applies more to serums - which are water based - rather than oils. A good moisturizer will have 3 components: humectants, occlusives, and emollients. The job of a moisturizer is to keep your skin hydrated by preventing transepidermal water loss; at night your skin is repairing itself so this becomes even more important, and people look for more occlusive ingredients. "When an occlusive cover is applied on the skin [the oil], the transepidermal water loss is inhibited and the skin moisturises." - Gioia, Francesco, and Leonardo Celleno. “The Dynamics of Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) from Hydrated Skin.” I apologise for the long comment, just wanted to give you a better understanding!

Since turning 44 I switched out the sweet almond oil for a hyaluronic acid serum and it's been great. I still use that tin and my skin has no "permanent" wrinkles yet, not even crow's feet. And I don't use a separate eye cream. That is amazing for dry skin, and I owe it all to that darned blue tin (it rhymes too LOL). About that acne on very dry skin! I had that in my 20s, pretty bad cystic acne. My dermatologist made the antibiotic cream in an "oilier" base, own concoction and unfortunately it didn't help (good cream though). I went on birth control (as it was hormonal) and that pretty much solved it. Right now I have one bump and haven't had this in many many years! What a coincidence. :)

@yoh175
@yoh175 4 года назад
Tretinoin, AHAs like Kojic Acid, Mandelic Acid, etc, Vitamin C, & SPF(ESSENTIAL) could all benefit you! I don't know that they'll be gone quickly-- it's important to carefully introduce these steps in your skincare routine and build up a tolerance. The best results come through consistent use-- no shortcuts.

Sarah V you have to admit what susan said is right though, make up wipes are not only bad for the skin but also bad for the environment except for those make up wipes that are biodegradable though, it’s still bad but better than the typical make up wipes, constant friction around the skin is fine but if it’s too much it can cause aging. the golden rx on youtube is an esthetician and she herself in her videos said that she is not the biggest fan of make up wipes which what she meant by not the biggest fan is that she hates them basically and also micellar water. the double cleansing step is lit and can actually get all of your make up off unlike those trashy make up wipes that contains an overload of fragrances and alcohol 🥳

My dermatologist has suggested a steroid injection on my ganglion cyst on my middle finger that is On the top of my finger. It has been drained 3 times and it's not you going away. He wanted to try it before hand surgery. I'm not thrilled about surgery. What do u suggest. If the injection could work I'd rather. Thanks so much for all your hard work♥

I use The ordinary, HA, Niacinamide and Zinc and buffet as my daily serums with an HA moisturiser. I use a mild Avene face cleanser to wash my face twice daily. I'm 35! I thought id be done with spots at my age. PLEASE answer my question as I'm so fed up with this skin issue. Love your channel. Steven, from Scotland.

Hi there I'm a licensed aesthetician and To fade dark spots you'll want to look for Ingredients like -niacinimide -vitamin C -Vitamin A -alpha arbutin I also reccomend exfoliation regularly to help the renewal process. :) The ordinary makes some wonderful serums
@gracelessnesss
@gracelessnesss 4 года назад
^ to add to what the esthetician said, specifically the ordinary's glycolic acid more regularly (2-3 times a week) and their AHA BHA peel is amazing as a weekly treatment.

I am on accutane and I was wondering how long I need to go before using retinoids, glycolic acid, and other active ingredients Becauee I have very oily skin and it will probably go back after the accutane round
@gracelessnesss
@gracelessnesss 4 года назад
once you go off accutane it should be fine to go back on those ingredients but not while you are still on it, you might not need to because i remained dry several months after accutane.. some people recommend waiting until 1 month after you go off of it, that is when you can start giving blood again. I was on it as well, for 5 months. For now, good ingredients to stick with are sunscreens, niacinamide, every ceramide ever, and hyaluronic acid :)
@persephonem9367
@persephonem9367 4 года назад
Dawson McSpadden talk to your derm about it. It truly depends on your specific skin and how it’s affected form the accutane. Some can start immediately some have to wait a while.

I have a lot of acne scars of my face, not only because sometimes I pop them, but because they pop themselves, especially in my sleep. Will they fade with time? Or do I have to aplly acids and creams to get that ''new skin''? Ps: already use soap with salicylic acid.
@samcook6379
@samcook6379 4 года назад
Manoel you may want to look into using a topical retinoid! My derm says that they are the only proven treatment for acne scars and if you’re in the States you can get differin over the counter for under $10. Ask your doctor first though!

You could, but remember that clay is very drying and Salicylic Acid can be as well, so be sure to hydrate and moisturize well after. Also, clay masks should be used sparingly! :)
