I don't think there is unfair media coverage on the opposition parties, in fact it was the live debate on CNA that sprung Jamus Lim to stardom. There are tons of alternative channels for political parties to get their messages across to voters more effectively like social media and RU-vid. The bottom line is whether you can use your vote to displace the incumbents, and in Singapore you can. "Chee Soon Juan is not a radical, beyond the fact that he desires change". A reminder about Dr Chee's infamous defamation case: "in campaigning for the 2001 General Elections upon seeing then Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, Dr Chee Shouted: Mr Goh! Mr Goh! Come here Mr Goh! I want to talk with you, come here! Where is our money Mr Goh! You can run, but you cannot hide. Dr Chee then approached Mr Harun, a former MP and said: He took $17 Billion, 1998 you cannot run away. $17 Billion you lent it Suharto.... Dr Chee in his Defence denied that he had spoken those words, denied that they were defamatory and denied that he was referring to Mr Goh..."

This guy has been relentlessly hounded for his views on democracy and transparency.This is unfair. What he speaks is not so anti Govt. but what he believes in to achieve a fair and just society for all. Unfortunately, the media and top PAP guys take it negatively and resort to character assisnation. Why hit below the belt??

3:23 The media is not watchdog..... Question is should appoint another media that acts as a watchdog to act as a check and balance for government policies since CNA shuns that role? Would it be better that national policies should be discussed publicly in certain responsible national digital media platforms rather than in its absence, people instead turned to politically biased sites for discussions.
