Good information, but I'm laughing bc his context for dating is decades ago. It's usually not wise or safe these days to let someone pick you up on the 1st date. I will meet you at the designated place...then assess your chivalry there lol.

I don’t know if dating different people in the same church is healthy. There’s nothing wrong with dating someone outside of the church and/or outside of your church. Pray and ask God about each date or should you even go on the date. You can learn much about you as well simultaneously observing the other party.

Dating just within your community can be a disaster. Just don't be unevenly yoked with nonbelievers ( it may take a life time to convert them and it could be taxing,or they may convert you😬😢. Know that nothing is to hard for God🌹

IT IS WHAT IT IS. GOD'S ways are not our ways. That same Grace that He gave you is the same Grace that He will give others. We cannot always choose what we like God may have a different plan as he did with Hosea( when He told Hosea to marry a prostitute),I don't know if she had a " wicked" body or even if Hosea desired her in any way. GOD'S ways are not our ways or even our thoughts at times. Samson saw a young girl from another area and desired her the only one that stood in-between that union was people, and PEOPLE destroyed it (that was his 1st wife and only) ; Now Delilah may have had the "wicked" body👀, for some reason Sam couldn't see past something 🤨👀 and Delilah wasn't into him like that, and she could be bought 😢" ... don't trust a big butt and a smile" so the song says ,but we know some can be trusted and not only butts👍🏾( don't get blinded)Sampson got his vision taken from him several times. I love Dr. Vernon and the Word church, but I feel like this viewpoint is from a black man’s viewpoint and to me this is disheartening and very discouraging as a single. I believe that black men are overly sexual and base everything off of this; however in the church and out of the church black people have the lowest cases of marriages and highest cases of divorce. Something is very wrong and I don’t believe it has anything to do with physical compatibility all the way….

The sad thing is , yes even in the church , young ladies , even those who are in Sunday school are telling me that well nice guys are boring , or if a guy comes across as nice it’s not sincere anyway. We, them speaking want a man with edge, swag , bad boys , rude boys , ruff necks . Moreover, we with experience know how those relationships end up, and the nice guy or the perceived nice guy inevitably finishes last. I’m not talking about the world???????
