​@@mithrasastry I think that I need to address this issue right away. I don't know what happened to the reply that I posted yesterday. Nonetheless, I am re-posting it again to quell the misconceptions about our Institution. In our institution, there is no patient who goes away without medicine when he is deserving. Please dont spread lies by saying that we are not reaching out to the needy. Our pharmacy is given standing instructions to give medicines for free of necessary when deserving/needy people approach us. As a part of my own responsibility towards my brotheren, we do a lot of several activities in several tribal regions. The condition is so pathetic that the Hemoglobin levels never went beyond 5 in those populations. We not only give medicines free of charge but also provide them with free groceries. I usually dont like to post such information, as we are descendants of That Great culture, which commands us to be anonymous when we do such activities (Gupta Daana is actually our culture). But, when someone tries mudslinging to jeopardize the mission we are in, then I will have to open my mouth. Actually, more than 20 crores of INR were spent only on research to arrive at PSA (Poly Scientific Ayurveda) which helped me cure several incurable diseases. All this money was spent by us in the last 20 years for this fundamental research as there was no Institution that understood the import or impact of the research that I proposed to do and even now this is the situation. And you also should understand that we manufacture the finest herbal formulations on the face of the earth. Our manufacturing practices are par excellence. It requires intense funding to establish such manufacturing facilities. The cost of processing the herbs is 3 times more than the cost of the raw materials itself and then there are over heads. We are about 20 doctors now and about 28 people in all working towards this mission apart from 20 part time employees and several dozens of vendors and about more than 100 contract labourers. And mind you, we are not even profitable. We are just breaking even, and this is very important because, many of the Ayurvedic practitioners work in Allopathic institutions because there is no sustainability. With the concept of PSA, we not only are curing end-stage diseases and managing them effectively, but we also have a wide range of diseases that our doctors are exposed to and we must have brought at least 10k ayurvedic doctors back into practicing Ayurveda because we were able to demonstrate sustainability. In the period between 2006 and 2012, I used to give medicines free but people used to just take them and not use them. Free service is sometimes not respected and when everything has a cost to it, how can anything be free is what my people ask me for which, I keep saying "Dharmo Rakshati Rakashitaha"!!!
