I tried this natural soap from Dr Squatch thinking to my self I will just buy it once to try it and see what all the hype is all about and thats it go back to my normal shower gel stuff. Well I have to say at first I wasn’t a big fan of the soap bar I thought its hard to apply and the natural smell didn’t appeal too much to me, having been used with the fake perfume smell from the likes of Old spice shower gel, well after using natural soap for a few weeks and then running out I had to use shower gel once more, and let me tell how disgusted I was by it, the way it felt on my skin and the smell of it, be warned if you do try natural soap bar you may not be able to go back to the dishwasher detergent that is artificial shower gel..
Neither one of those soaps have much pine tar in them if you can smell anything except campfire. Waste of money and no benefits from the tar unless it’s at 20% of the total fats used. Pine tar is really expensive. I’ve made pine tar soap using 20%. It’s a very strong burnt wood smell that fragrances won’t mask.
@@cesarmarroquin9930 technically it would take about 150 and a half licks in order to get to the center of a tootsie pop but in order to do this you need to have an owl on your shoulder
Fun fact the black stuff was on the map before Dr squatch and Dr squatch stole their design just look up Dr squatch copying the black stuff I still love Dr squatch tho
@@lessalazar9068 I didn’t realize you wake up at 6 am every day to go to the Dr Squatch warehouse to make the soap from scratch, oh wait you don’t, I do.
Yeah I've heard that they outsource to The Soap Guy. The theory goes that Dr Squatch made a deal to get exclusive scents from The Soap Guy, or that they have their own facility now but used to outsource to them. Dr Squatch is a big brand now so it seems like making their own soap would be better for business Idk why that one guy is pretending to work for Dr Squatch without posting any proof, or why he thinks he's the only one who wakes up early to work. I just ordered a loaf from The Soap Guy, so I'll update this and tell you guys if the quality is the same or not. The ingredients seem to be the same so I have high hopes
I just don't recommend this soap bar. We use to make home soap more than 20 years ago, was hard and lasted "forever" . This soap bars they make just melts like crazy under water, reminds me of cheap african soap
