Read John 6 again....Jesus says to partake of the bread of life "comes" to Him. He is speaking of spiritual matters, hence verses 63 on where He clarifies the discussion is about spiritual things, not things of the flesh. Those who COME to Him have partaken in the bread of life...the bread that you eat ONCE and are filled forever. Roman Catholics just keep eating and eating, thinking the "manna" is filling them. Yet the prophets ate the manna in the wilderness and are dead! Eat the bread from heaven, meaning COME TO JESUS by faith. He even clarifies that one cannot "come" to Him unless the Father draws him

As the Son of man, I will never desert My Church, for It is impenetrable against the devil. My followers will remain true to My Church up to the last day. However, the number of people who will not understand the attacks, which My Church will come under, from within, will be high. They will, for the most part, be content with the many adaptations to be introduced in the Holy Sacraments and the Laws of God. They will swallow the lie that modern life calls for a modern church; that people today need to be able to make choices, based on their own free will - irrespective as to whether or not they insult God. Then when they insult God and commit blasphemy, when they desecrate the Holy Eucharist, they will no longer be part of My Church. My Church will remain intact. My Church will stay standing, because of those who will remain true to the Word of God - the Word, which became Flesh. For you cannot divorce My Church from the Word - the Flesh - because then It cannot Exist. I promised that I would protect My Church against the gates of Hell and I do this now by preparing My loyal sacred servants to stand by Me and to remain true and steadfast until the Great Day. @@hcho7776 maybe if you read the chapter instead of repeating nonsense you would see that Jesus tells us they didn't understand Him, that He was speaking of SPIRITUAL THINGS, that the "flesh profits you nothing". Jesus said that you are to come to Him to partake of the bread of life....the bread which leaves you NEVER to hunger again. You must believe you need to consume Jesus flesh weekly in order to retain the presence of Christ in you? The presence of Christ comes when He places His Spirit in you, and replaces your heart of stone with a heart of flesh....you need to keep eating and eating, just as your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and died, so too will you John 6: 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.' " 32 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." 34 Then they said to Him, "Lord, give us this bread always." 35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. You still can’t hear the voice of Jesus

@@jesusmatters4222 it's not ONLY Catholics. It's Eastern Orthodox. It's Lutherans. It's Anglicans. Our Lord isn't talking about eating "the" flesh. He is talking about eating "His" Flesh. Anyway thanks for commenting because I now understand your interpretation better.
