Wow... What a multi-faceted and extremely gifted person Mr. Subramanian swamy is. No wonder he was successful in all of his adventurous pursuits, he always had Maha Periyava's blessings with him. He is so humble to share his interactions with Kanchi Maha Swamigal, as that only increased my knowledge of kindness bestowed by Maha Swamigal and Subramanian swamy following his Guruji. Maha Swamigal was always concerned about the welfare of our country and the future of its people and directed the course of the country by His tapo shakti and through the efforts of Dr. Subramanian swamy

Wow! What a fascinating, thought-provoking, and deeply inspiring video this is! I was deeply touched. When I first met Dr. Subramanian Swami at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam at Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, a few years ago, and asked him a question at the end of his lecture, I did not think very highly of him. He sounded like a typical Indian politician. Now I see another facet of him which, I must say, I like very much. I had great respect and reverence for Maha Periyava; after listening to Dr Swami's personal experiences with the Maha Swami, my reverence has increased manifold. You are taken by blind reverence for a religious figure. And suddenly a politician who you had no or a low opinion about has been raised to the heavens, all because he speaks highly of this individual you revere. This is the danger of religion, this is how politicians use it to control people.

This was a rare talk which told me things about His Holiness the Paramacharya and Mr. Swamy that I never knew before. I hope Mr. Swamy will one day become the finance minister that our country deserves and urgently needs (and as a student of Kuznets, a post that he deserves ... far more than all the finance ministers we have had). By the way, can you please add English sub-titles to the sections in Tamil? My own Tamil is so-so and many others who don't know the language at all will miss out some of the amazing things that you have said.

I assumed you don’t like me M: No, it wasn’t like that. I went in to get this paper cutting for you. Can you read Tamil? S: I can manage. The paper cutting of the article questioned if Swamy was Tamil. The editor of the article had replied: yes, he is from Sholavandan M: So is this you? S: Yes M: you can leave now

M: what must change in Politics? S: it’s the thought process M: have you heard of EVR ( Periyar - father of Dravidian politics)? He travelled through the state and changed everyone’s opinion. Do you know he owns a temple in Erode that he inherited form his father? Do you know that temple wins first place annually? EVR is the manager of the temple in addition to changing everyone’s opinion. You will understand this in time. This is what needs to done. One must not ignore one’s duties. Despite EVR being and propagating atheism, he never failed to keep up his duty to the temple and his father.

Shankaracharya being the Dharma guru should order every Hindu to carry a weapon for his self protection as Sikhs carry Kripan and Nepali Hindus carry Khukri because the threat from Radical Islamists is increasing day by day. They have openly vowed to kill Hindus. Therefore it's most justified for Hindus if they carry a weapon for defense.
