Thanks so much for your encouraging remarks. I'm hoping to add Chinese transcriptions to all the videos but it will take until January 1 to finish it up. Blessings on your study of God's word.

I do not enjoy being in school and taking tests. But I cannot get enough of watching lectures and reading books in my own time.

Dr Ted, thanks for the amazing contents you put out!!! Watched multiple series, 7 or 8 and I always download them, to use offline when I don't have WiFi. Want to comment about 2 things, 1. those view counts on YT don't actually represent the actual views, since I download them and pass on to my friends who enjoy the serieses on your channel. 2. Please consider converting the video formats to webm, before uploading them. I say this because, it's really hard downloading most of your videos in lower quality(240p). God bless you for all the work!

Interesting. What is webm video format? I usually use H.264 mp4 as my video format (1080p). Why would webM be better? Where does the 240p come from? I use Adobe Premiere Pro which probably can output webM but don't know much about it. Let me do some research on this online. Thanks for the suggestion and comments. Very encouraging and instructive. Thanks!

Can't you just download the mp4 1080p video easily? Sorry I just don't know. Thanks for opening up the webM world. I've got a video converter that can convert from mp4 to webm. mp4 is more standard though from what I've gathered off the web.

@@tedhildebrandt_BeL For context, I live in Ethiopia, (Dr Craig visited us recently) as you may guess access to internet is scarce and expensive, how we normally use it, is that one person who has access to WiFi will download the videos and share to others offline. We usually use two ways, YT allows us to download the videos and share them offline through an official app called YT go( I believe it's only available in certain locations) or we use other YT downloaders on browser and share. The problem comes with the file sizes being too large, one episode comes up to around 800MB, and that consumers lots of time and limits the amount we can download at once.(limited time on not fast internet). Further the videos aren't "modifiable" on YT go, it deactivates option for changing playback speed and quality control( to choose lower quality), since we don't really need HD videos for lectures Thanks for the help! P.S: I'm not suggesting you change your whole way of working just for one group of people, but only suggesting this if you can do the same work and help one group ( have better outcomes) without hurting other groups. Also I don't know much about webm and format control, I only suggested that based on suggestions I found online.

Maybe there is another way to make this happen. Give me some time and I'll see about sending you all of my videos on a single hard drive that you can make copies of. I'll need your address. You can send that or give it to Dr. Craig Keener and have him send it to me and I'll take care of the rest. I've got a very difficult semester so it may take some time but I'll get a USB hard drive to you. Will that work for your purposes. Craig is one of my heroes and I love to support doors he is opening! All the best, In Christ, Your brother, Ted

@@tedhildebrandt_BeL Dr Craig is a hero to all of us!! But the Hard drive isn't necessary, but thanks for your support. I was only suggesting to solve the issue for me and for others as well. It's not a big problem for me or for us who share the files. And it will be much fruitful if we can solve it for all. I'll try and research the exact solution and if I can find a concrete answer, I'll forward it to you. That way it will also help others who also download your videos and use them. Getting to my earlier point, you should know that there are many who use it our way and don't show up on the YT view counts but are helped and blessed by your videos. I know of 2 other groups who do the same like us and it's plenty of help for you to upload the videos, we will do the rest, but again thanks for the offer. And God bless you for your work, it's helpful we can find biblical meat online and not just the milk and the false teachings that are popular online.
