Dr. Devraj, thank you for your educational efforts through your podcasts. What are the approaches in Ayurveda to resolve unresolved emotions? Thank you!

Greetings! Yoga which is one of the sister branches, can help; for example abdominal work, holding poses and stretching areas of the body susceptible to hold tensions and emotions. Pranayama is very helpful. Fresh organic food prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. Proper sleep. Of course, the root of issue needs to be addressed at the spiritual level with true spiritual knowledge , correct awareness of the nature of the world in relation to that which is Real, the relativity of maya, impermanence of things and focus on that which is permanent and not transient etc... But once the negative emotions have settled into the body, one needs to address the body to physically release it, all the while continuing to reflect on spiritual principles and their application in the world. I have also found Tuina, a type Chinese massage to help release built-up emotional toxins in the body. Additionally, time in nature and living reverentially in the world, cultivating a sense of the sacred and practicing it in all walks of daily life.
