Man, you got to be kidding me, King's X, Rush, The Police, Van Halen, Hendrix, Ozzy, Nugent, Satriani,... All my favorite music. And all executed very well. Great channel.
I cannot love this video hard enough! KX is damned hard to cover, and y'all have nailed as beautifully as anybody who isn't King's X possibly could. Wow. And a great demo of the amp, I have to say ~ I wouldn't have thought "Hey, if I pick up a Z, I could play some King's X" before, but now it's pretty obvious! :)
Thanks! I don't know if that amp would be the first choice for king's x stuff, but it works pretty well in that context. I think the world of that band, just so unique and original and full of emotion. 🙏
Thanks! Can't wait to see your band. :) Singer Jeff and drummer Dennis are currently playing in this band. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S9wUgqDxfCA.html
It's a little different from when you over. I'm using a smaller board, an Allen Heath 24 channel thing because the big one doesn't really fit on the wall, like it has to come out about a foot to get the speaker stands behind it, then the monitoring position is to close that soffit in there. That board sounds good and fat, but I miss the hi pass filters and more controllable eq on the big on (that's after mixing this project on it). It also has a fan which is audible and drives me nuts. I might go back to the way I had it with the big board when you were here, but I need some better speaker stands as the current ones kind of rattle. I'll figure this stuff out some day.
Thanks Rick! We've saw them the last couple times they came through the Arcada (St. Charles) and both shows were something else. Those shows really gave me a huge appreciation for the drummer in particular.
Thanks! We were blessed with those singers. And yes, this turned out to be a lot harder to pull off than I think any of us expected. They sound simple, but they are deceptively difficult, I think anyway.
Adam! Another killer performance, mix, editing, video and all things creative! Thanks man. I know its countless hours do to this stuff. So the board, where it use to be is where Dennis drums are right? And the board is where now? Have you expanded performance areas/studio? Love it all!
Old man sitting down! Kind of funny, but when recorded all the first time, I had my eyes closed the whole time and didn't move at all... it was the most boring thing to watch that you'd ever seen so re recorded it just because of that. Live and learn! And thanks!
