The DR200 is a ridiculously reliable machine. I took my motorcycle endorsement test with a DR200. It may be ancient technology, but it's one tough bike.

Great vid man! I recently rode a friends ktm 250sxf and it felt just as fast as my ktm 300 xc. A lot less power which caused me to be smoother on the bike. Not coming into corners too quick, not afraid whack a handful of throttle, faster corner speed because you can't just jump on the throttle coming out. Looking forward to the full thing!

Love the videos and look forward to this one. I doubt KTMs or their owners are crying though and I get that its just taking a poke a pricey bikes but it unnecessarily puts this content in the shadow of KTM. Your skill, fitness and mental toughness are the bigger factors and I think the story about building budget bikes and racing them stands on its own.

You are too funny dude. Keep posting your sarcastic wit. To others on here saying 90/10 or 80/20 have no clue. Never raced or been on a DR200. I bought a low miles 05 CL DR200 for cheap for my school age daughter to ride after she outgrew the XR80. It is a low power low speed tame bike, great for new or young riders. TTM shows you can help this under whelming bike out, but even stock they are fun. This video shows me its 99% rider 1% bike! Fun stuff.
