Well done. You got the voice sounding pretty good. Definitely has the slightly croaky quality of Draco 😂. But yeah this is an interesting theme to explore. I've seen other people in the fandom say things like "Tom Riddle is the boy who made all the wrong choices, yet Draco Malfoy was the boy who never had a choice." He had to be a Slytherin blood supremacist, a death eater, and learn unforgivables, because his family was that way. In reality he's terribly insecure (a lot of bullies are) and at the same time arrogant and just wants to be perceived as better and validated, so in the beginning he was gleeful as a bully... Until he grew up a bit and realised that pleasing his ego and his parents was going too far and his beef with Potter was insignificant, in the end they were on the same side. Tbh I still wish they would have not deleted his redemption scene in deathly hallows pt2. Even if it wasn't book accurate. It was only 2 seconds. 😂😅

I feel like you would’ve sorted that out by now.” “Is that so? And what would you do in my place?” “Well, it seems you aren’t being clear enough with something if he tells you off once a week.” “You don’t understand a thing about how it works, right?” “I’d understand it better if you’d calm down and explain it instead of avoiding it!” “No, don’t tell me to calm down!” He snaps, looking off into the forest. You sigh. “You always say he’s mad with you and you never tell me why.” “If you want to stay, I advise you to let me be. . . .” He lifts his silver gaze back to you. “Or leave otherwise.” “Okay, then. I just thought if we took a walk, you could clear your head. You’ve been so snappy lately.”You look away from him. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude.” “Well, you’ve made your point. I’ll go.” You turn back to the castle, but you only manage to take two steps when Draco changes his mind. “No, don’t leave! Please!” “Then tell me what’s upsetting you,” you say firmly, walking back over to him. You notice he looks hesitant, only for a second. “It’s just that his presence always leaves me-I don’t know . . . unstable.” “Oh,” you say softly, suddenly feeling the frustrating from your little banter fade away. “Well, I don’t blame you. And you like it here, don’t you?” He doesn’t answer the question. “It wouldve been better to be raised like he wanted since the very beginning.” He glances at your hand on his arm, flicks his eyes to you for a second, and looks off to observe the nature. “But I ended up at this stupid school.” “Why is it stupid?” “Hogwarts made me weak,” he says simply, and you take your hand off him. He turns away slightly. “Oh. . . .” “I’m glad that you listen to me.” “Well, I want to be here for you, you know?” Draco nods, crossing his arms and looking down to his feet again. “I hate admitting this but it’s the truth of why I’ve been angry all the time.” “But I’m glad you told me. Sometimes you just need to get things off your chest.” Draco smiles, just slightly. “Thank you. I know I can count on you.” “Always. We all need somebody to count on.” You tilt your head to gesture that you two should head back, and begin walking. “Of course, you can count on me too. Just-don’t mention this to anyone.” “Not a word.”
