Couldn't agree more about Dracula, I'm feeling this new direction for him. All he's ever wanted was his own kingdom &now he's got it, so what wouldn't he do to keep it. Would like to see Dracula & Blade's daughter fight but for him to eventually back down after winning the fight

I suspect that the main attraction with the primary blood hunt books isn't Jed McKay's writing, which as you say in your video is actually pedestrian, but Pepe Larraz' art. That and extra gore designed to appeal to a certain kind of fanboy. Those looking for good writing, character depth, or even a good reason why Blade is acting the way he is are best served by reading a tie-in.

I jumped off of Black Panther when I tried to get into Coates run and didn’t like it. Didn’t like most of what has happened to Black Panther in his book since that time. This blood hunt arc is the best I’ve seen anyone do with Black Panther since Hickman’s run in secret wars. Still, I’ll probably never be back into Black Panther comics again because of what they’ve done to Wakanda and the true king. They really made Wakanda into a struggling country with unstable politics for several years. People don’t like to see characters like Doom or T’Challa in these instances for prolonged periods as it is far from what we love about these characters.
