On the second book…Whew!you have a new fan.Jumping from character to character with the accents?…I am won over…nothing I enjoy more than a long form video, bring it on,I can take it!
This is my favorite book ever. I’m so glad you have this one. I can literally close my eyes and see the images in my head like seeing it in person. Your voice makes it sound so alive.
So caring, meticulous & thoughtful; three wonderful qualities of the integrated man. This recording in full via the playlist is one of my favorites. 🕰️📚☠️🧠🫁🫀📖🗣️🎙️🎛️🎚️📡Thank you.
I struggle with reading books. Something I wish I could do but never have been able to for some reason. this was the first audiobook I’ve listen to and really enjoyed it, thank you for doing this!
You’re really great. The sincerity and talent of your voice, and your love of your dogs even if they interrupt bc you didn’t take them out on said day. Thank you sir
Tony, I've just finished listening to your version of this great classic. You brought it to life, and I really appreciate your efforts. You brought it to life. Thank you!!
Thanks - I had been confused at the end and actually scrubbed back over it the first time, but never got around to buying a paper (or e-) copy (or just going to another channel) to figure out what had happened. Your dedication to detail is commendable, sir!
This was absolutely fantastic.i enjoyed how much effort you put into transitioning between characters and accents.I am a first time consumer of your work and really enjoyed myself
Thank you for this Tony as we appreciate production levels as high as yours must take time. For what it's worth, we think the extra effort you clearly put into your work is reflected in the finished product. Either way, cant wait to get into bed and put this one on. Love Phil and Rach, UK 👍❤🍻👍
Amazing. Why has no film yet, done this story justice? This deserves a trilogy, or series. As a trilogy, the first film should be about Johnathon in the castle, second film would follow Lucy ending with the groups plotting to kill dracula making it the darkest film, and finally the third film would be about their journey back to Transylvania to kill Dracula and his wives. It could be amazing.
Thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed your story telling. And the fact that it was such an enjoyable (and free) version to listen to was oh so appreciated. Well done!
Found it! Thank you very much! I don’t have a lot of time to listen so I’ll tell you I’ve started listening several months ago. Thanks again. I am familiar with the story and have read shorter versions but this is by far the best because I can listen to it on my car radio. ❤
This was absolutely brilliant, so glad I stumbled onto this channel, granted it took me a while to finish this second part as im a night listener and id fall asleep alot but..thats a good thing 😂 very soothing even for classic horror, thank you for your hard work..now onto Frankenstien. 💜 Must say id love to hear toyr take on some Robert E howard tales, especially Conan and his eldritch horror stories.
You have caused me to “fall in love” with Dr. Van Helsing! I wish he were a real man!! I’d like him to be my uncle! Or grandfather! He’s my hero ❤ Your narration, dear sir, is extraordinary and I thank you!!
Great work, Tony. Your interpretation of Van Helsing is definitely the best I have heard on several audio versions of the novel I have listened to over the years. The right amount of eccentricity without crossing over into parody. The accent you gave him reminds me of the actor who played Professor Bernstein in Hammer's "Curse of Frankenstein" (who also fits the physical description of Van Helsing from the book!) Some day a film studio or television network may take the time to do justice to Stoker's full original work.....some day!
LOVE the long videos! I would really enjoy listening to these as I go to sleep. Can you make any that have a dark screen? Regardless, whether you can or cannot, they’re amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. No interruptions! it was perfection my new favorite channel.
@@ClassicGhost that’s awesome! Yeah, I enjoyed the visual effects of your videos a lot unfortunately I just can’t sleep with any light so I’m always looking for either a dark or dim video to play. But the stories you tell are perfect to lay down in a dark room and listen to. Thank you very much. I appreciate your work.
Two Christmas stories, the 1st one is pretty memorable. Jerome K. Jerome "Told After Supper". John Kendrick Bangs, “Thurlow’s Christmas Story". None of the biggies here on YT have either yet.
i was halfway through the first 21^chapters when you uploaded this, so this comes in very handy... ;) that aside, as a german i absolutely love your van Hellsing... "Gott!"... ;) beautifully read, i always imagined Cushing and Lee...consider me a member
wonderful narration your work is not duly accredited. I can see why the movies divot so hard to the source material. Act 1 and 2 are brilliant but I wouldn't say so for the final act.
