Love both, I think Bryce is a generational talent. His size is the one negative. He plays like the game is moving in slow motion. I like Bryce better than Kyler. Kyler reminds me of Russell Westbrook. A great athlete that plays basketball, Kyler is a great athlete that plays QB, his reading of defenses is terrible but he gets away with it because of his athletism, Bryce is a great QB that is a good athlete. He reads defenses like he was in their meeting.

@Nomynamw Huh, all the people you named are smaller than the Georgia D line, which all are 1st round draft picks. I saw Bryce set the SEC championship passing record against them. Nolan Smith 6'3 240 OLB just ran 4.3 at the combine, Trevor Walker 6'5 275 #1 overall pick, Jalen Carter 6'3 310 #1 overall player on 90% of the draft boards, Jordan Davis 6'7 350 ran 4.8 at the combine top 10 pick, and Devonte Wyatt 6'3 315 first round pick. Bryce threw for 421 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran 3x for 40 yards and a touchdown against the best defense in the last 20 years. Soo? 🤣

Excellent analysis and depictions with use of your pen & stop and go of video during your explanations, not to mention the way you compared to existing NFL players as reference. As there were approx. 3 additional QBs under consideration for potential Heisman (Caleb Williams, Hendon Hooker, & Drake Maye), do you think you can do similar analysis with them as to what would make them more appealing over their competition? Caleb Williams still has potential for Heisman with his team's continued performance in comparison to the other 2, given their teams did not fare as well this past weekend. However, they appear to be great players on their own merits. It would be great if you could do one or 2 videos usings such similar careful analysis and then eventually do a final composite video that would make comparisons from your past videos to all the potential QB candidates. Thank you for your hard work.

Quarterbacking is more than physical traits I think Theo made some good points, but Bryce is light years ahead of kyler in intangibles it’s really not close. That stuff translates almost as much if not more than physical (exceptions: Lamar, Josh Allen, Herbert, mahomes-who all have very good intangibles and don’t just rely on talent) I think deshaun Watson before all of the shit went down is a better comp they have similar arms and are both great leaders

I thought so too after the game, but CJ was inconsistent this season. Bad vs. Michigan, Maryland, and Rutgers. Great vs. Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame. Incredible vs. Georgia. If he can replicate the success he has in the postseason vs. all of his regular season opponents, he could be great. I don't really know though. CJ is tough to evaluate. He was not coached very well, and that can be seen in his inconsistency game-to-game. He gets really hot, does well, then gets cold, and does not do well. I'm a Buckeye. I've been one my entire life and I'm a huuuuuuge CJ Stroud fan. He's our best passer of all time without any doubt. But I gotta say, I'd rather have Bryce Young if I was looking for my franchise QB.

For Bryce Young's NFL closest NFL comp, would Deshaun Watson work? I saw the Texas play where he escaped the sack and gave me flashbacks to him. Physically, they seem 1-2 inches and 10-20 pounds off but as far as poise and how they move in the pocket/process, I can see it as a VERY high end comp. I'm not sure there is a proper NFL comp since no QB with his build is currently a starter in the league.

I think CJ Stroud is exactly like Justin Herbert, but that scares me. Herbert in college was a little hit or miss. I remember thinking that the Chargers screwed up picking Herbert early in the draft. Clearly, I was wrong, because Herbert found a way to put his game together. That isn't normal. That's why I don't like to rely on player comparisons. Justin Herbert wasn't Justin Herbert until he became Justin Herbert. If CJ Stroud becomes as good as Justin Herbert, he will be known as CJ Stroud (Not Justin Herbert 2.0) How many times do we see QB prospects that are close to greatness that fail? "If he can just clean up the turnovers...", "If he can just read defenses better...", "If could just get better in the pocket...", etc. These stories happen every draft. Look at Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. Those are just the highly drafted player from recent memory. How many first round QB's are there that are lost in the sands of time. I love Theo's final remark that these guys aren't slam dunk prospects. I don't think any prospect is ever a slam dunk. Any prospect's floor is a draft bust with ceiling of being an NFL legend (Obviously the likelihood of either outcome varies, but anything is possible). With all this said, it looks like my Texans will be picking 1st overall. I hope they take CJ Stroud. Bryce Young is fine, too. Just not Will Levis (but watch him be the Herbert of this draft and make look stupid again).

Young reminds me of Marino. Always looking for the open receiver willing to sacrifice himself to make the play.

Marino was 6’4 225. Young is what 5’11 190. Style yeah your right but man it’s going to be tough for Young to survive many years.

@@livejames9374 I think so too. He would need a better O line than Marino had to survive.

Bryce young is injured so the Texans need Bryce but they should take the healthier quarterback CJ stroud

but Bryce isn't injured lol. He has taken nonstop hits this year and is tough as nails. CJ acts scared and afraid to take a hit.

Bryce is the better QB. I say that because if you take away his knocks (height and weight) He’s a generational talent. Let’s do this make him CJ Stroud size (6’2, 220) Not an Andrew Luck or a Cam Newton. We are talking about Bryce as one of the prospects to come out. Bryce is really him.

CJ Stroud is a better passer but Bruce Young is a better Quarterback. Both good but give me Young all day.

It's funny you made this video a long time ago, and even though the Panthers finished with #9 spot in the draft, they still ended up with the first pick and that's the team you locked in on 😅
