One of my favorite videos. my families been farming here in Ontario Canada for well over 100 years and work horses played a vital role. always love hearing my grandfather and my dads stories from before they got their first tractor. even though i`m a motor head give me a heavy horse pull anyday over a tractor pull. work horses are very noble and proud atheletes , val had mentioned how they were always steppin, this because as my dad would say they are "rarin to go!" lol. you`ll notice they always let the horses see what they`re gonna pull and as soon as they hear that "clink" they gone!! lol my dads gettin up in years but always take him to see the local heavy horse pulls when possible, thanks for sharing

i had put up some heavy horse pull vids on my channel about 8 years ago and recieved comments about how cruel it was to exert these horses to this. people forget that horses opened up this country and become part of the family like any other animal or pet. you can tell these incredible animals enjoy this the way they hold their heads up and prance. if they were threatened by this it certainly would be apparent by their demeanor. Growing up on the farm we were fortunate enuf to have horses and always gives me chills being near these amazing creatures. hope you were able to give these beautiful beasts some pets lol

Growing up on a farm these horses have bits that go over the tounge, some have little rollers in them so they have something to play with. Because they get board. They. Are beautiful animals here thanks for sharing.

Nice video Itchy. Thanks for sharing. As a child I often saw farmers working in the fields with those big Belgian draft horses. It was quit normal then. Now sadly their all gone, and farmers don't need horses anymore. It's all about making money today using huge tractors. Luckely we still have our famous Frisian horses, we breed overhere in the Netherlands. The Frisian horses where once the heavy battle horses in the dark ages, but today we export them all over the world.
