Came here to say this exactly. There were a couple of picks early, like the pack 1 ankle biter he passed on and the pack 2 Paladin I think I would’ve taken over murder, but at least for the Paladin he was immediately rewarded. There was no reason to pass on the tumbleweed. It’s not even an “eat your vegetables” pick. It’s a strong card that’s both a mana fixer for his already greedy mana base, it can fetch up another desert to buff his greenblade, and it’s just a strong 6 drop play too when his curve was looking a little low. Reid is an infinitely better player than me but I have to feel like that was a huge mistake. Not so much for a practice draft but if this was his PT draft the commentators would be having a field day
