I was on Hunting Grounds this day! Knew I would find the video!!! I was off in the trees as a Solo Carno watching the massacre lol Great fight as always! I had wondered if Sticky was in that group of raptors, but i doubt it!!
@@PorplePersona I mean. I’m not the correct person to ask for lots of details but from what I understand (I’ve learnt from the best) the utahs weren’t staying far enough into the leg and they disengaged quite quickly. Or it at least looked like that from your pov. Good drags tho, right on target
Lovely when utahs make it easy right? nice one. - tip, dont nod you head, when you see them go to bad spot, look up above them and do the little sprint, it makes you able to see them flop when they get dragged 😂❤
So much salt in the comments from people who dont know how to play or how this game works lol. The isle legacy is a pvp game theres literally nothing else to do in the game. All dinos take skill! Awesome video!
This reminds me of the time I got ganged up on by like 15 carnos as a grown rex. I was all by myself, panicked, ran, and as I tried to run, I accidentally bit someone, died to the carnos because they rid me the entire time, and the fucking server banned me. IolF is such a shitty fucking server. I really hope its dead by now with Evrima, those bastards remind me of the most uptight elementary school teachers who will mark you down for the smallest fucking things. They will literally ban you for being too close to water, bleeding or not. I got banned twice for that, just because the admin decided so. Never been marked up on any other server in the 2000 hrs I've played the Isle.
both most the time, nod biting is when you look up while biting so ur hitbox is extended but drag biting is when u sprint a little to kill something on ur leg. You don't actually have to nod bite in rex vs utah cuz utah is really small but i did anyways
@@profilenotfound2525 I’ve already told you they cannot, good ceratos can’t kill stegos with a minimum of 2 braincells “It’s easy to bait stego attacks” against new players sure, but against actual experienced ones it’s not going to be easy And the isle is a survival game not a pvp one, just because you can fight people doesn’t make it pvp focused, thing is the game is so dry it’s the only thing that you can do after getting to adulthood 💀
Lol this is why i quit playing legacy isle, too many rexs that just practice nod biting in dm servers and what not, the number of tail bites you landed in this video was pretty nasty not gunna lie. Well played by the rex tho!
@@ollie5186 Damn have your fun while it lasts cuz legacy is gonna get deleted once evrima is finished , wich is kinda sad cuz i always loved legacy , but i like evrima too so i cant get mad
@@90skidcultist in my eyes (I’ve been playing legacy for a while) it’s not exploiting more a strategy that most employ to be the best. Yes if you look at sticky Utah. He doesn’t snipe or drag. That’s a **different** pvp style. If you look at this video Purple uses drags to get an advantage where otherwise he would die to riding utahs. If you wanna say that Purple is exploiting, well so is his attacker so he has no choice. Other than that. For most people these “exploits” form the base of the pvp meta it’s what makes the game so competitive for most.
@@ollie5186 Man, I legit hate Legacy combat and balance and am always glad Evrima exists whenever I go back to play some Legacy, but it's great you enjoy it!
@@PorplePersona oh I just meant in general. I’ve seen others do it in deathmatch. I haven’t really played legacy since 2020 and back then I didn’t see people do this, so I was just curious as to how it helps
@@snedbag1727 it can get complicated, but there's sniping, (which u can look up a tutorial/explanation on) and then tail nipping. basically tail nipping is when ur chasing something straight ahead, looking up will slightly extend your hitbox forward
basically looking up while attacking breaks your bite hitbox and extends it, so you can snipe people from farther away like purple mentioned, though it only works when you're sniping the left side of someone's hitbox for some reason
They got the admin on their side, that sucks they should reduce utah pack size, not only they are easy to grow but they are also vindictive, if you beat them they'll just comeback more angrier and more vindictive, Utah players break the immersion for apex players and the reason why a lot of newbies are having a hard time playing instead of enjoying, growing your apex takes 6 hours then you'll get jumped by a pack of utahs that only takes 3 hours to grow and they swarm
Well I mean it literally is system abuse and abusing old design software and it’s glitches so yeah I’d say it’s op I also won’t fight glitch abusers like you particularly because it’s bs. You can literally bite behind yourself entirely which is gamebreaking bad.
To be completely honest a single Utah shouldn't be able to solo a damn Rex, tail riding is as stupid as using these bugged bites from a gameplay and balance standpoint
Jeeez the further i look the more its pathetic... utah is far behind your leg and u just wipe him w this "glitch".. this video is all about using glitch on already F-up dino :X zero skill just empty biting #sorrynotsorry
@@PorplePersona True. Good Utahs actively hunt Rexes and grief them. Doesn`t mean that Rexes still aren`t overpowered against 99% of every other dino as well.
@@PorplePersona First, none of those dinos can solo an experienced Rex. In a pack, of course they can. At that point, even a Spino can die to Allos. So, I guess because a pro Utah sweat-lord can solo a Spino, that means the Spino isn`t actually broken right!? How often does that happen as well? Look, I can solo BAD and sometimes average Rexes as Patchy, but that doesn`t mean Rex isn`t broke. Rex has High HP, leg break almost everything it hits or just flat out kills instantly, fast heal, fast bleed heal, fast sprint (for its size), fast ambush, long ambush(for its size), benefits the most from hit box exploiting, etc. First off, apexes should aways be in pairs. Even Spinos. Most "good" Rexes are in pairs. Gigas kinda have to be in pairs, because of the broken Spinos and Rexes. Sure, I can solo a Spino unless it uses the ambush exploit. As far as getting tail ride, use your ambush to get some distance. Should work, unless they do the same to counter you. Dilo is the only problem on your list. Suchos can dodge your bites, Sub Giga can too, but that`s based on Ping and luck. Drag biting kinda counters that too. Also, none of them can get around a Rex in a one v one. Not an experienced one. Rex destroys Shants and large herbies, and can trot most of them down. Minus Para, because of its stamina. Giga and Spinos also cannot hope to win, and some Rex players can even solo two v one. Unless the pair are good or above average, but we are talkling about average players and normies here. Even Juvi Rex is decent. Sub Rex is really good and even better than Alberto. Rex is an unbalanced animal, the unfinished Spino as well, and should have been "updated" a long time ago. many players have actually stop playing because of them. And unbalanced doesn`t mean that they can`t take an "L" here and there. At least Utahs almost always get destroyed by average Stegos, dibbles, Maias, and Carnos. Ceras, Barys, Acros, and even Allos are also very dangerous threats. Even to Utah sweat-lords.
mf what is the rex supposed to do then? broken hitboxes are a strategy at this point in legacy, if he doesn't employ them he simply dies plus those utahs were also bad a good utah can tail ride a rex all he wants
legacy (current version of the game you're seeing) got discontinued and to this day all of those issues are present, they are working on basically the isle.2 (called evrima branch) which is getting somewhat better
