Pro street is a great game, speaking only of my experience with PS3 I found the input to be laggy tho amd frame rate to be bad. Perhaps PC version fixes this?
Drag Racing is the epitome of street racing games let alone NFS. it’s an absolute MUST to have it on LAUNCH or at least a month after, it would’ve helped Unbound massively to have it at launch instead of releasing the game early. having it 2 years after is a buzz kill
The best possible drag racing mode would be to combine the drag races from Underground 1 and Prostreet (which is what we almost got in the latest update for Unbound). The traffic, barriers, elevation changes and lane switching of Underground 1 combined with the burnout before the start and separate wheelie drag races from Prostreet.
@@andreasmoller9798 Yeah you're right the car performance wasn't great. But I was referring more to the drag mode itself. You could red light at the tree by going to early. And like in real life, you go on the third yellow and that's how you would get your perfect reaction time. None of this 3,2,1, go crap like in most games. You could also lose by going to early with the flag girls in the "street" race drags. Plus the burnouts at the beginning, and the way Pro Street let you put some nice fat tires on the back if your car was set to drag racing. It was just cosmetic but there were actual visual differences between drift, drag, and track racing cars. Games like Forza Horizon need to take note, because there were so many things Pro Street did right that could work even better in a game like Forza. Unfortunately it will never be like that.
@@gbales84fm and gt7 could take note on those drag modes because they have decent physics to pull it off horizon is still little to much on the arcade side
Underground 2 Drag is underrated, imo its one the most complex drag modes a racing game would have. Due to the fact, alongside specific dyno setups you would make or based out of, you also need to consider tinkering with the FPS and how it would greatly affect your car's performance (especially wheelies and such). There are still many exploits that you need to know or you could follow in order to achieve great results in such race mode, but it gets even more complex from there.
In unbound they need to fix the perfect shifts because even when the indicator is green its like you gotta let it sit in green for a bit then shift to get a perfect shift. Its still great tho
It's been so long since I played that I forgot there was Ice drags on the lake in Horizon 4. Same with the beach drags. That gets a win in my book just for the uniqueness of locations! Nothing tops Pro Street though.
more parts please need for speed evolution do something every week thank you, great memories with those videos, it's also interesting how the games progressed
No way buddy you played r:racing revolution in this video (with test drive:overdrive as in usa it was just simply called testdrive) i must admit doing drag racing looks easy but not really as so many can fail to the lights changing quickly, miss sifting points and bad starts too anyway thanks theboss gaming for this video and have a nice day bye now.
@TheBossGaming that's true my buddy even with all the power, you're still at the mercy of tires, gearbox, heat, track prep and skills too so thanks again my buddy for responding but before i go do you check your comments on the last two videos as there on lamborghini murcielago and best open world maps were left by me.
