I feel so sad for Darienne because his parents grew up to be open about hating homosexuals. I'm glad they came around and now understand that there is nothing wrong with him. HOWEVER! i never had to come out to my mom. she just knew and accepted it. no discussions. i believe a lot of moms are that way. and if your mom doesn't let your gayness happen naturally, i feel for you. but like darriene said, you will get better and will never have to ask for anyone's approval.

Some of these queens have to deal with so much shit just because they are true to themselves, it's heartbreaking. So happy most of these were positive experiences but what Jiggly said was really important, if you think things are going to go badly and you might be unsafe by coming out please protect yourself and have the support system you need ready and there to help you on your journey 💕 (Also, Trixie is killing it in all the Drag Con videos I have seen 😂😂)

Wow, so many of these stories were positive. And to think, just a few years ago that wouldn't be the case. It really shows how things can change. Still, there are those stories, like Darienne's, that aren't. We have to keep fighting for acceptance and love.
