Agreed. Double the pay. Clearly they are struggling both for comedic commentary, and to keep a smile. A zombie series released years after the second wave of zombie shows and films should quit with the tropes and try something a little different.

Usually when I watch Queens like to watch and it's a show I've never seen before, I can still follow the plot from the brief clips they show on these videos. phlebotomist here to back katya up: it makes no sense to stick a needle in your neck, it’s way easier to access a vein through your arm, there’s three for you to choose from right there. i guess *technically* you could find a vein in your neck but you’d have to have some serious anatomical knowledge to find it without hitting an artery

@TheMaidofMiddleEarth we do those too (with a smaller needle of course), especially if someone is a hard stick on their arm. to draw blood, the arm is generally preferred if possible because you’ll get a better blood return from those veins. also, some phlebotomists are trained to draw strictly from the arm, not the hand. if you’re doing an iv, a lot of hospitals prefer to do it as distally (far away from) the heart as they can so they’ll do it in the hand. that way, if it fails they can just move it up from the hand to the arm. note: as a phlebotomist i don’t have iv training, the information ive provided here regarding ivs is based on my own research :)

for all the druggies out there, there are also many other risks besides accidentally hitting an artery. As with any vein, there is the risk of causing damage to the vessel walls leading to collapse, which is just one of a million things that come to mind. Countless complications that are ok in your antecubital (inner arm) area but not for your jugular.

3:41 I am not a doctor quite yet, still in school, but I AM a huge Resident Evil nerd!! I’m pretty sure he’s injecting himself with the G-Virus (an offshoot of the T-Virus) and because of how difficult it is for the virus to latch on to brain tissue, they inject it into their neck (they’d do it in their brains, but the skull is in the way). The only time anyone actually puts a needle in their neck is when they're a heavy IV drug user and can't find a usable vein anywhere else. Actually, early on when I was using, a guy I was using with offered to inject me for me because I was newish and it often took me a while and before I knew what was happened he'd stuck it in me neck!! I'd NEVER have let him do that! I actually got a sharp nerve pain shoot from the needle and down my arm and I honestly thought I'd have nerve damage. It all worked out fine but DAMN.

Could Katya and Trixie react to Killing Eve on season 1. I know season 4 came out not long ago, but it is the perfect show for them. They would lice Villanelle's outfits and her humour, and 9f course Katya would love a Russian assassin. And the series is so good with the action and humour. Please could this be the next thing they watch on Netflix!

Katya mentioned bingeing Killing Eve and how much she loves it in either her old podcast with Craig or the current one with Trixie. Either way, she’s definitely already seen it. I don’t know if that would make a difference to her and Trixie being able to react to it on this show but I thought you should know that Katya is already a big fan of Killing Eve. :)

@@FluentlyFletch True, but that was specifically for Pride Month, along with My Best Friend’s Wedding. Those are classic movies that were done for a specific reason. I’m not saying it couldn’t happen at all, just that there’s some reasons why it might not. I also just wanted to let the OP know that Katya does, indeed, love Killing Eve. I’m a nurse, we never go for the neck with a damn syringe. I did animal medicine too and the ONLY time we did the neck was to DRAW blood from an animal, not inject anything via a neck vein/ artery. It drives me batty. It’s all for show.
