i think they are comparable. both very performance oriented, rwd, naturally aspirated, very expensive, two seater cars.

I actually don't... The GT3 RS is a track car, it's not designed for drag racing. Just look at the Nürburgring lap times, which is not a track but at least has some turns, and you will see the GT3 even beats the Aventador.

It's not reasonable to expect a modern car to based on a normal coupe to weigh less. It's the fastest ever by far, so not such a shame right?

Even the 997 GT3 RS was 1400KG, so i guess considering all the technology that comes with the car its pretty light for what it is. A compact A45s AMG weighs 1700 KG just to put this into perspective

It's very very light, you have to consider the size as well, 992 is alot bigger than previous generations + all the active aero and electronics + double wishbone suspension in reality Porsche really made a very light car for what it's, only McLaren that actually can take lightness to another level thanks to their famous Carbon tub use

Nah, Lamborghinis are my favourite cars, but the Gt3 Rs just isn't made for straight lines.

@Sandro Shtolpe I agree with you on the drag racing part. The RS has too much aerodynamic drag but it still has a top speed of 187mph and goes can go 0-60 in 3 seconds flat with a good enough launch

No, by 200 the Lambo overtakes, which means he is at higher speeds than the Porsche way before (probably hes already faster to 160) - but has to make up the deficit of the launch.

if you want to go faster get a turbo s or gt2rs, the gt3 is made to resemble a GT3 Cup car which also got around 500hp

But is much slower
