The tea on katkat's entrance line is because she and Minty fresh had a little fued in Facebook when katkat said minty only looks gorge in pictures. Then minty called her pating (shark in english) wahahha

Captivating Katkat's entrance line is actually a reference to the drama that she was involved to during the premier of Drag Race Philippines Season 1. She shaded the queens, specially Minty Fresh, saying that they only look good in pictures. "Maganda ba ako sa picture?" translates to "Do I look good in picture?" Additionally, Minty Fresh clapped back by saying that Katkat looks like a shark. I know it's hard for the international audience to get it but Katkat's whole entrance act is really iconic.

M1ss Jade's runway look is inspired by a mythical bird in the Philippines called Ibong Adarna. The legendary bird has healing powers but it's poop can also turn people into stone(just like Medusa in Greek Mythology). That's why half of her face looks like a stone/statue.

Tiny’s entrance line is also iconic! ‘Chubby ah’

captivating katkat is a legend in the ph not only because of how long she did drag but because of her talent. Unfortunately the attitude and mentality isn't for the best. Heres to hoping she changes for the better

I know people doesn't like Katkat a lot but she highkey ate in this episode. I went in the episode not liking her and her verse but they showed her as a likeable villain with the talents to show!

Also i applaud drph fpr actually listening tothe criticism by people like people complained about how bad the audio was for this episode and they actually re uploaded it and fixed it

Arizona's IV stand with the alcohol stand was smart for me, she used alcohol instead of those medical bags. Alcohol gives her life ( most of her performances consist of her drinking a whole bottle of alcohol ), she could have elevated this 100 times but it was safe for me. Jade - Gorgeous from entrance to runway ( though we couldn't really see her body/shape, I'm just happy she doesn't rely on her body all the time, I love her for that 😻) Katkat - shady, shady, shady b, she was the number one for me this episode though her verse was trash I live for her performance, she devoured her looks ( not that living for the entrance, but I love drama 😻) Tiny - I loved her entrance look, thought it was cute, the runway... not so much, there were too many things and not one of them went right. Love, love, loveeee her verse ! I judt know she'll either be eliminated on ep. 3 or 4 or right before the finale Matilduh - I love her entrance, AND THE RUNWAY OMG SICKENING. She could've won if she just did better on the Maxi. Nicole - I love that she's very proud of representing Cebu, her entrance look was a choice ( I hate the wig ), her runway look was okay, it's just that something big was missing ( idk what ), but props to her for representing Cebu all episode long, ( I just saw the look Katkat was going to lend to Nicole and it was sickening, turns out it was from Vice Ganda a very famous LGBT superstar in the Philippines) Loved this reaction video, and your look is a shoot for me, the jewelryyy, SICKENING! 💗💗💗

I think they did well in terms of judging this episode. I loved katkat's performance and if she had a netter runway, she could've won. I think deliberating for the winner of this episode was neck and neck between Arizona and Katkat but the deciding factor was their feather looks. Overall I think the episode is good but I would've loved a split premiere if both episodes were to be shown at the same day.

haven't watched this reaction yet but i hope you watched the reuploaded version Val, as you can see the first version they uploaded was so dull because of the lack of background music - they actually got dragged, bullied and all on all social medias, they ended up deleting it on WOW presents and reuploading it after editing

I absolutely LOVED 4th Impact on X Factor here in the UK in 2015. I did wonder why I'd never heard anything about them since but I guess they went back to the Philippines and pursued their career there. I was excited after this to look up their music on Spotify but really surprised they seem yet to have released an album stil, only or two singles a year. Arizona's performance and verse is best/ most memorable than the rest, Katkat performed great, but her verse sounded like she's reading something. Arizona topped because of her runway+ performance + verse

Most iconic reference is that of two little soft kids deciding wether they'll Tiktikman (Taste) or Tatakpan (Cover) a well-known people/celebrity base off of their picture. Hope this helps. I wasn't really into the entrance looks on this season. But I'm crossing my fingers, hoping it gets better. Like Katkat, her entrance look was terrible, but i think she's my favorite for the win. So far! ❤ I always change my mind half way through the season though. 😂

Katkat is a legend in the drag scene in the Philippines. She has been doing drag even before the word"drag" was even introduce to the Philippines. And I definitely agree with you that she was the best during the maxi challenge, but her runway look was a lil less because Arizona has a clearer concept than her. Tiny Deluxe is actually the drag daughter of Viñas Deluxe from Season 1, so I think the pressure got the best of her too. 4th impact is okay but I think it's better if they got SB19, I don't think they've given enough advice because the lyrics of these Queens have no "heart" unlike the Season 1 Queens' verses. 🥲

This did not need to be a split premiere. I felt like we were missing a lot of good content by having the other 6 queens in the mix. This lineup felt underwhelming and the bottom 2 was reaaaallly predictable
