He forgot to Say. Before You tune gears, do a full dyno and see what is the rpm with most torque and horse power. When You tune gears try to make them shift into the powerband. For example, If your max torque and HP are at 5500rpm, when You shift from 1st to 2nd the rpm should frop to a maximum of 5500. Under that You bog the engine. And never shift out of powerband. Your powerband goes up to 8300, shift then. Not at 8500 or 9000 because the drop in power is pretty big and You get slower acceleration and slower times
@@Konashuthat is now outdated, do NOT use a 4 speed at 500hpt. Use a 6 speed 3.7 then when you get over 1k switch to either 5 or 4 speed and always use lowest gear ratio transmission.
@@sanya4999 it depends on how car is balanced, cuz my friends car is balanced and uses 1.15 or something like that and I use 5.0 cuz my car (42:58) and it gets balanced
This was a very basic tune that barely worked, but in the video i gave you the knowledge needed to tune it on your own. Its up to you to tune it to be even faster.
To increase timing you have to have a "blue" or higger ECU. Max out ECU then tap it again to buy a custom ecu. They all differ a bit. So choose ewat best suits your car.
