Drag racing the BYD Seal against supercars! Faster than a Lamborghini? 

Tough, used Telsa Performance for 55k or new Seal? Telsa is faster at 3.4 secs.

The byd seal performance model is 74k not 65k the premium is 65k but has a 5.9s to 100

Seal awd under 65 in qld, 67in nsw, 70 in vic. Etc, etc. Very affordable performance in a 5 seater battery car. Turn off traction control for extra take off magic, just like with other byd cars, unfortunately some reviewers drag racing these cars are not aware of this. Neither are they aware that it resets at over 80kph for safety reasons. And soc neads to be high for maximum performance.

But sometimes we need the instant performance to overtake other cars on road.

@@arifzain6844 how many cars n the road can match the acceleration even including the lag? Don't make the road a racing track. Don't forget 0 to 100 in at least 8 min is the norm for other cars

Top speed, of Lamborghini Huracán Evo RWD is: 325 kph and.......... can reach 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, cover ¼ mile in 10.2 seconds, and doesn't handle like a Camry!. You think a Car maxing out @ 180kph can beat a car doing 325kph.. SO DUMB IQ 21. Wasn't just a slow start... he legit didn't do anything for the first 0.5 seconds.. several times in video. He's so slow. It's every single one.. he legit stalls for 0.5 seconds. They all take off way ahead of him.

Too easy to say that behind the keyboard without actually being there on set with the particular car. As explained in the video, the car does not accelerate instantly the moment the pedal is depressed, contrary to what some might expect. There is a very obvious lag time between flooring the pedal and the car being propelled forward, and it got worse as the day went by with increased heat and load on the car, perhaps even traction control that held the car back a little.

was it possible to hold down the accelerator fully and hold it on the brake, then release the brake for a faster get away ?@@HorizonDriversClub

The battery would depleted and heated up after each race which would degrade the performance of the car significantly. So very impressive performance from a compact/mid size family sedan.

Doesn't make any difference. The batt percentage only affects the range coverage, not the speed/acceleration. Speed/ acceleration fully depends on the driving mode selected, whether you're on Eco, Normal, or Sport.
