I love your channel Jeroen. One thing I would have loved for you to have emphasised and shown here is the importance of correct ergonomics to avoid knee, hip and back injuries. Once again, I appreciate your videos.
Anyone notice the weird editing at 2:25. The ball starts going towards the top right corner then the camera angle changes and suddenly it’s going in the top left.
Can you please make a beginners hockey video! Maybe the basics of trying to shoot goals in the air, or running with the ball, any tips etc. Probably watched all of these videos in the last few weeks 😂 🇦🇺
I found it helps if you really try to 'get' the ball on the stick. So before it even leaves the stick both the stick and the ball are already in the air
I don’t think it’s awkward at all 😂 but a shorter stick means there’s more skill available, that’s why the forwards always have short sticks but the backs tend go for longer flatter sticks
Phil Roper has 163 international caps, 39 goals and 4 medals, playing Dutch and English prem standard... Listen to the end of the video, everyone has their own style and Roper's is the modern quick release method. Don't be jealous because you can't do it 😂😂 Terrible opinion...
@@Singh19able you're disrespecting an international athlete? For no good reason? I highly doubt you can dragflick/play hockey at all if your attitude is to criticise other styles.
Thanks H! Trying to improve little by little every day! Just received my rebounder beams that you had in the last video! Shame you didn't have an affiliate link otherwise you would have got a commission on my order!
Tips: keep the ball close to you when you flick it away ( you can put more power into it ) and don't try to do the drag part to fast. The drag should be controlled and smoothly transitioning into the flick
