Hey everyone,
This is my entry for the Dragged Under song 'Chelsea' mix contest 2020 hosted by @Produce Like A Pro and @Riffs, Beards & Gear

@@JCMJustin I did enter. My mix is on my RU-vid channel. I'm not expecting to win because I'm still pretty new at this stuff, but it is a great learning experience.

Hi Justin. Solid mix with punch, levles, eq etc. Mabye go more easy on the reverbs. You will get a more defined mix with some things up front (Just my taste). I will enter my mix in a few days.

Thanks man, really grateful for your feedback. Yeah I still find reverbs difficult to get just right in the mix but in the end I just had to commit. Good luck with your entry and thank you for checking my mix out!

Oh yes reverbs is a challange and it´s easy to overuse them. I have the same problem but a good rule is to listen again with fresh ears.

Thanks dude, I'm happy with how it turned out but there have been some insane entries to the comp already! I used the dark glass plugin from neural DSP, its awesome! And just automated the level of drive at the points in the track where it needs it more or less. Thanks again!

@@JCMJustin Hey JCM. No I haven't had a chance to hear any other mixes. I'm barely submitting mine now. I didnt want to listen to a whole lot. Kinda wanted to go into it blind and from scratch as to not be too influenced in any other mixes.
