Dragnet was an American radio series that starred Jack Webb. The show's episodes were based on real cases from The Los Angles Police Department and became one of the most influential police dramas in radio and TV history. The Dragnet radio show premiered on NBC June 3, 1949 and ran until February 26, 1957. This episode is called "Big Threat" and it aired on April 12, 1951. #oldtimeradio
