Dragon's breath is basically the rocker launcher equivalent of witherhoard and anarachy and has pretty much replaced the later as the best fire and forget exotic heavy in the game.
Yeah, luckily it’s not like Witherhoard where it’s truly just one, but I know what you mean. Insane for solo content and for a single person to use in your fireteam though!
@@AboveDestiny clearly someone hasn’t seen aegis’s dps test video. Yes dragons breath has high dmg with x5 fuel and quad ignite, however the quad ignites are unreliable and doesn’t happen often. People don’t want to fight for ignitions as there’s an internal cooldown.
@@metilosgrimm not really a b&s apex still has higher dps, what boss’s damage phase allows you to shoot off every dragons breath x5 round with quad ignitions that lasts multiple minutes? Total damage is irrelevant when a phase only lasts 30 seconds.
@@Alckee6904you don’t know shit my guy. One DB is good on a team. I can consistently deal the highest damage in any raid or dungeon boss in every fireteam iv joined.
honorable mention to slice on scatter signal - its also a good free 5% from Torch and its also a great debuff that could come in handy in master content where enemies hurt more
@@AboveDestiny Slice is really strong on the weapons that have it and alot of my clanmates can vouch for Slice as less damage an enemy does is way useful in high end content especially GMs and Master level content
for pyrogale, dont knock consecration as an incredible melee option, especially with the scorch it can provide for dragons breath. your burning maul damage wont be as high, missing out on the roaring flame buff, but youre going to be evening it out through multiple damage phases by having consecration available.
I use pyrogales with dragons breath. Makes the boss go boom boom boom.... Boom boom.....!! Crafting the dreaming city fusion rifle now with overflow and Controlled burst. So it's pyrogale super, Dragons breath, switch to fusion, rinse and repeat with dragons and fusion. By the way, did they nerf pyrogales? It used to have 5 tornados.. Now it has 3

@AboveDestiny not that I know of. More traditional MMOs focus heavily on team play with an emphasis on team mates specialising in offence, defence or support. The term "selfish dps" comes from certain dps classes/jobs whose only noteworthy trait is that they can pump out high dps with little regard to providing any direct team benefits (hence being selfish). An example of a selfish dps is the Machinist job class from FF14.
You lost probably so many dps and damage when I look at your footage. With Supremacy every shot do 25-40k dmg depends on debuff and I can do 2-3 shots in 1 second. In the time you throw 1 fusion, I do probably 3-4 more damage with the sniper.
the fusion does pretty high damage, and also scorches the boss, which all goes into firing dragons breath both faster and effectively. you may be getting more damage out of sniper shots in the short term, but missing out on more frequent dragons breath shots in the long run.
So the purpose of the fusions is total damage, and additional scorch stacks to auto load Dragon’s Breath. This setup is for total damage not burst, so the fusions just add a ton of damage for free.
