Took a short break from painting miniatures to build a little bit of armor.

With that fast knife work you reminded my of Bishop's knife trip from Aliens. Nice build & cool tip on the tread!

True, but also keep in mind most Tamiya kits (I believe you're refering to them) are from the '70s

You can get 0.016" / 0.018" stainless steel rod at your local hobby shop that's stronger than brass of the same gauge. It hardly shows up it's so thin. On 1/35 scale it almost invisible; but it works on 1/72 scale too. You may have to bend the protruding outer edges of the rod down a bit to keep the sag straight across the width of the track. It's thin and strong; but it does flex a little. The only problem is cutting it. Use heavy duty wire cutters or you'll ruin your cutting blade. I prefer the rod method PaintingClinic used over gluing or tieing tracks down. Once you get the hang of it you can make all sorts of sag.

@trejosam00 They don't have numbers on them, but I'd say it's around 350.

You must have a pretty fast camera to record you videos...! What type of camera and video editor do you use to set up these videos here in YT..? Thanks... At that scale; those battle tanks are so small..!! Try not sneezing near them...you could actually inhale them....!

@tankman13p66 Dragon produces the best military models. Japanese model kits look like jokes when being compared with Dragon.
