The In-Universe Lectures are very soothing and feel like I'm in an actual magi classroom. It helps with immersion vs other lore videos that feel like I'm simply getting a window into the world of Thedas. When I was a student, I loved drawing while listening to lectures. As an artist, I miss doing that. I am a fan of the In-Universe Format.
Absolutely obsessed with the in universe lectures!!! A while back I dreamed up doing a similar thing, role playing as a freed elf under Dorian's (probable) organization in DA5, teaching new recruits basic history, theorizing, and the more secret dealings of the inquisition as we know it. Plus just reading codex entries. I was too ADHD to do it alongside work and stuff but it makes me so happy to see someone bringing something so similar to life!! Can't wait for more videos!!
Maybe this is just me but I love the idea of me being an apprentice mage just listening and note taking to a professor who occasionally makes small jabs at us.
Replaying DA:I for the second time after something like 6 years. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity or the time to play Origins and Dragon Age 2 at the time, but this "courses" of yours really make me feel like picking up both those games and play them myself (which I'm gonna do)! Also I finally learned how to read DA dates, lol
My soul lives in Thedas. This just brings it even closer to home. I love all your videos but, I love being able to forget about this reality now even while I do my chores.
Hey man, I've been going on DA:I grind for the last weeks and really enjoy your lore lectures. Its more mesmerising as a normal lore vid. Kind of keeps you engaged. Would love it, if you kept doing these, and the DA community would too, I imagine :)
I agree with others; in universe is just so much more immersive. Thank you for doing these it's keeping me sane while waiting for the Dreadwolf. It's good to learn more about Thedas and is so interesting. Keep it up 🙂
hahah love the in-universe take on the lore videos! If I was a student, I'm definitely the one sitting at the very front, jotting down notes (just in case EVERYTHING is in the exam)
Am I two years late to the party? Maybe. But Loving the videos and so thankful to have some eminently listenable DA content while I undertake a huge project for work. It makes it a lot less painful to do!
Dragon Age is by far my favorite universe lore wise. Im absolutely fascinated by it and these videos do a really good job breaking it all down. I put the playlist on while I do nerdy fan art and it's always the best part of my day.
I think these videos are awesome, but when you say Theodosian, shouldn't it actually be Thedassian? After all, it's Thedas, not Theodas, or Theodos. Not criticizing, just an honest question. Perhaps there was something said in the third game, which I never finished, or the one novel I've yet to get around to reading. It just sounds strange to me to say Theodosian, so I thought I would ask.
