With the demons redesign it feels like the ones we fought in inquisition were fully formed but these have only just started to form and are more raw as it were.

@@PrincessGoose Also the line you didnt know about is a targeting indicator. I suspect youll be able to turn it off in the accessibility menu.

There's been one common reaction amongst the ones I've watched. "Solas, you BASTARD!! You killed Bianca!!" Someone ought to mention to Solas that he is crap at making decisions. After all, he thought giving his Orb to Corypheus was a good idea as well as robbing the Elvenem of their immortality.

"what is that?" * end Scene *That's for us to find out in a bunch more months.... Nice cliff hanger. I don't even care about the gameplay/combat etc. I just want more story. If they don't F up the story all the redesigned this or that is fine. Just write a good story Bioware. That's always been what carries this series.

The lines are incoming attacks on your character from the enemy, so you have the chance to dodge but you can turn it off apparently. The green urns are how you replenish your healing potions. The pause wheel is on pc too but I don't know that it will look the same. It looks to me like her staff is more of a magical wand with a dagger at the end, but I'm not sure. What comes up at the end are two of the evil dwarven gods that Solas banished to the fade.

Can't wait for this game to come out. Notice that Varric and Harding were calling the MC by his first name which is something new in the Dragon Age series.

I mean is it his first name if it is his only name? Like sure every other character is called either by title or by a family name but still.

@@GRIMHOOD99 might still be a possibility Rook is his first name. Back in Mass Effect Andromeda, they called Ryder by his or her first name but only if the name is default which is Scott if the brother and Sara if the sister. Rook might be the MC's default name.

u can't switch character, that's kind of a big deal to me honestly, and it doesnt seems like u can't command them as well to move in a specific position?? there's no strategy in this but literally just hack and slash action game

You can’t control your companions but you can issue commands to your companions. Like you can point at the target and tell them what to cast and you can do it for both of your companions at once so it’s actually an improved version of what you can do in Origins. It keeps the combat flowing faster. You can’t see it in this because it’s the tutorial, Rook is a level one and doesn’t have anyone in his party yet. If you look at the layout of the UI during the pauses in combat you can see the outline of what the system will look like later in the game.

@@bwbryanwhite494 andromeda? that was the original trilogy too i'd rather control them BUT you still can control their attacks and there is strategy to that people play mass effect strategically too idk about moving them but you can't control them but you may be able to tell them where to move

@@beccangavin it's not an advancement to a combat system, its totally different from the past and that's kinda dissapointing for me personally, I want to be able to control where they're gonna be position and going rather than just them standing around in the area shooting and casting spell while a dragon breathes fire upon them, or a horde is killing them.

It's an edited trailer, the image of combat with blood was posted on twitter. I also wouldn't assume that these are the designs for the whole game, they could be specific to the Veil getting torn down.

Throughout all the games and even the books and TV show, all the demons looked different same with the darkspawn so you really can't say they need to go back to the old ones because they've all been different and it's a lore thing where they're turning and getting more and more corrupted because all the demons are, are spirits who's purpose isn't being used properly (the gods trying to break free possibly doing that to them)

Still not a fan of the Disney look or Baldurs Gate knock off art style. Dragon Age had its own style already. This is a bit too cartoonish. As it is Varric has always been a blond, this change to black is not good he looks like hes a Lord of the Rings clone now. Its like having Solas have a full head of hair. Since when has Solas ever been a cold hearted killer uncaring of innocents deaths. Baldurs Gate was beautiful as well, but this is Dragon Age not Baldurs Gate. Solas sudden unexplained change is unfathomable and unexplained. Why is Solas suddenly finishing the job Corypheus started, why did he join us and our cause to do this now. Since when has any Dragon Age game been neon bright blues, pinks, and greens? I fell in love with Dragon Age Origins and played upto Inquisition. Because it followed a story and kept to it stylistically and artistically. Jurys still out for me.

Yeah this just looks like a better version of DAI. The colors and lighting are due to the setting being in Minratheous, it's cannonically more advanced because mages have free reign

it doesn't look like a cartoon at all to me, i don't see what people are talking about and the hairs look way better than even in baulder's gate i don't get it plus i find it odd that DA fans now suddenly care about graphics when most bioware games don't have that great of graphics me3 and da2 in particular verge more on the cartoon than this game
