Thiiiiiiis! Poor Varric feels so much guilt because he's lost so many friends to themselves. He doesn't want to see Solas fall too. 😭

Especially because he looked at Anders and saw Bartrand and his mistakes in the end. Varric is doomed to watch everyone go to their worst moments and survive to tell people cautionary tales they'll never heed

I certainly hope not! But I'm not putting anything outside the realm of possibility. Even if it will make me cry. I think Varric is also in that position just based on how they've just set it up... I honestly can't wait to find out how this is going to go!

I played Origins when it was released and again in 2014. The gameplay trailer, which we see here, is def not what was seen in the cinematic trailer, which had the stylized animation. Which I address in this video. Maybe go back and watch this gameplay and see how that compares. 🤷‍♀️
