@Rad Metal I’m actually neutral on him, I agree that he should’ve died permanently, but then I wouldn’t get to see Vegetto, my favorite fusion since he talks smack while actually smacking around his opponent, and he does have his moments. What made him irredeemable to me were his actions in the Cell and Buu Sagas, being super selfish and throwing everything for a good fight which never ends well for him. Although I disliked Super, they made him a bit more likable since they show him caring for his family, and even for U6. I also can’t forgive him for contributing to the irrelevance of the OG cast, Yamcha, Tien, and even Piccolo don’t deserve the disrespect they get.

That's humanity in a nutshell, finding something so petty to make a big deal about. Toriyama didn't exactly make things better with his forgetting things from time to time. Although to be fair, this happened because Yamcha didn't finish the Saibamen off, he assume his opponent was down and he let his guard down. The formerly incapacitated Saibamen jumped up and grabbed him. Then, it self-destructed. None of us knew what would happen except Vegeta and Nappa. It is a sad thing overall, but always expect someone from the crowd to make something tragic into a big joke. The fact that humans follows along with it shows some humans have such a mentality that's often compared to sheep.

Right now, DB consists of "Sayian!", "New powerful enemy, best attacks don't even cause a flinch!", "New Power Up Form! Defeat enemy with ease!" about 8 transformation ago, each transformation being a MASSIVE leap for Sayians, with the final one "Ultra Instinct" being one anyone can have...except Yamcha. Toriyama doesn't have the BALLS to redeem Yamcha. It would break the internet and send the internet rolls fleeing to their caves.
